cant expect the world out of this thing for the price! Owned the 1000 watt pyle chopper series amp for over a year till its untimely death by frying out. (was more my fault then the products) soo i am upgrading for more power hopefully this one will last longer but u can replace these once a year and still get a better deal then some of the higher priced amps!! not a bad bang for the buck

Not exactly sure why so many people bash on the Chopper Series. I haven't actually "read" the wattage, but I've had this amp for almost 2.5 years and it still is pumping a 2000W Kicker 12" CVR with a Pyle 5.2F Chopper Cap. Never had any complaints besides having to adjust the voltage boost, all the crossovers, sub sonics, etc... for a long time to tune the system. But now the same system is in a hatchback vs convertible and slams even harder. I do remember it getting pretty dang hot once, but I had it set up as bridged wrong and the Volt knob that you have to adjust with a tiny screw driver is sensitive. But once I had the Voltage adjusted and the rest of the knobs tuned, this has been a solid system for two years. Rarely has heated up. Amp has even withstood accidental sparks and having the cable line fuse blow, rather than its dual 40amp fuses. Idk. Just saying, hasn't failed me yet and hits pretty hard, just needs a lot of tuning done for it. You can't just hook an amp up and go. Hoping a 4ch Chopper amp will hold up for me the same as well here soon.

Do Not Waiste your time or money with this amp!!!It started smoking and fryed up after only 1 day trying to push a pyle subwoofer!!! The amp is really small compared to other amps especially since it claims to have 3000 watts of power, it has more like 300 or 400 watts max.
