Put this item in my campground rigged up golf cart. It's a BASIC stereo but the price reflects that. It's not terrible, the installation is straightforward. I can't complain for a plastic cheap stereo!

I bought the unit for use in my old CJ5 Jeep. I wanted to go with something cheap because there is not top or doors. As long as the jeep is turned off you can hear the unit but as soon as you turn it on the unit was drowned out. The audio quality is very low too. The speakers that come with the unit do not produce a good low or high sound. You hear the vocals but that is about it. I replaced the Pyle speakers that came with the kit with some Pioneer speakers that I had. They sound a little better and can be heard over the engine. The head unit is fine but you are better off without the speaker.

I got this with high hopes that were dashed fairly quickly. The SD slot worked but had no real navigation. The manual for this model was not available online so I looked at the manuals for the PLMRK12BK and the PLMRK14BK and thought that since they were the same and indicated directory navigation this model should also. It doesn't. Every song on the card is dumped into a single list with only track forward/track reverse navigation.

I may have been able to live with this if it wasn't for the fact that the radio didn't work. I could get 1 station and that was barely audible through the static. Even stations from our town didn't come in at all. My factory stereo is getting stations from neighboring states and this one wouldn't even get the station whose tower is in town.

Item arrived as promised, I hope it performs as well as it looks. Installation was a breeze.
