I bought these PYLE PPA-12 Professional Premium Pa Woofers as replacements for blown woofers in a pair of high end 3-way floor standing speakers I've had for 20 years. They sound better than the original woofers and hit a lot harder too, easily taking 200 watts of slamming bass and sounding crisp, clear, and deep.
Great speakers, great price, great service!

I got a great price (w/free shipping) on a pair of these to replace the Woofers in a set of Cerwin Vega D-7 cabinets. They sound really good in my bike shop. I may try to repair the old woofers with custom foam kits and put them back as I have another set of 12" speaker cabinets that the Pyles will fit. But right now these are sounding great and like I say, I got a super deal.

I bought three of these to replace blown woofers in my PA monitors. Driven by my 500W channel mixer, these sound great, brighter than the originals and can handle the bass. I also drive them with my guitar amp head on occasion, sound great here too.

They came promptly as ordered via UPS in factory packaging. Only downside is the cone material had dried mold growth on the back of the speakers. Poorly translated manual, some of the typos are laughable.

I not a techie so i can't go into technical details. Purchased this woofer (2) to replace the ones in my home entertainment center. Although they were marketed as a car audio item they worked fantastic in my system and at a fair price. Had the same result replacing the tweeters with PYLE PH44 4in. Horn Tweeters.

Great 8ohm woofer. Not just for PA. Nice bass...loud...handles heavy load. I'm powering these at 125 amps (Max) But probaby would sound great with lower and higher loads.

I purchased this woofer to go in the custom Sub cabinet that I built years ago. I have always enjoyed the sound of a sub for TV/Movies/Music and the old driver in the cabinet gave up the good fight from years of daily use. This woofer is great. I didn't realize how sloppy the old worn out woofer had become. This Pyle woofer sounds tight and has plenty of punch. I knew it was a winner when my kids came in from outside to inform me that they could "feel" the sound of what I was watching(I tested it with battle scenes from the Lord of the Rings trilogy). With a good cabinet and quality amp teaming up with this woofer, you can't go wrong.

I bought these to replace the totally disintegrated woofers in a pair of Pioneer DSS-8 entertainment speakers. There doesn't appear to be any replacement speakers available for these units but for my use, TV / Home stereo analog set up, these are perfect. I had to modify the internal connections but the sound is great and so far they have taken everything teens can throw at them.

I bought a pair of these to replace the blown woofers in my 30 year old Advent loudspeakers. I needed to enlarge the hole in the speaker boxes slightly to make them fit. (No problem here, Pyle makes no claim they will fit the Advent boxes.) The speakers sound great. The only reason this review is not 5 stars is the user manual, which is full of typos and obviously translated into very fractured English. But this is not a big deal.

After searching the web and checking out MANY different speakers I decided to give one of these PPA12 units a try. I've installed this in my Crate BT1000, 100 watt bass combo. now this unit only boasts a a 90db output level, but it more than handles the wattage. It wasn't real loud by itself,(amp only pushing 50 watts @ 8ohms) but when I plugged my single 15" cab up, this speaker came to life! Full bass, KICKIN! You can feel it in your chest! WAY better than the stock 12 inch speaker. And that's with the amp only about 1/3 volume.
For the money you can't beat it!
