This unit and the image it projects are OK...not great & not bad. The picture is clear enough and the colors are good, but the fan is a little loud(louder than a lap top computer) and I would not do more than a 100' projection. To get acceptable picture results, you will need to use HDMI cables and 1080i is required. Any other connection or lower resolution results in an unacceptable picture. Also, don't expect to connect the unit to a cable line and have the TV tuner work. It did not work with Time Warner Cable and I had to get a separate Cable box. On a positive note, my son's roommate spent twice as much on an Epson and it is certainly not twice as good.

Works OK. ATSC tuner is a great addition if you don't want to hook up to cable box. It uses 3D pass-through so I have not tested the 3D capabilities since I do not have a computer hooked up to the projector that generates the stereoscopic images needed. My next projector will be native 1080P because this projectors image is definitely blocky at 120" but more noticible when closer to screen. All in all a good projector with nice bells and whistles (also mine does not have the FM transmitter that it says in the docs which would have been nice to stream sound to stereo).

If I could I would give this thing a NO Star Rating!

The sound pulses on the unit. We tried just using the onboard speakers, hooked up to HDMI, Running through an old amplifier, running through a new amplifier, and several other ways.

It got so bad that while watching a movie the sound would just stop so we figured out if we turned the damn thing off and waited 15 seconds then turned it back on we could watch with sound for about 10 or so minutes but we had to repeat multiple times to make it through the whole movie, Noah with Russell Crow. The movie is awful by the way.

Do yourself a favor and Stay Clear Away from this pig.

I LOVE watching movies, and used to use a 61" Flat Screen until we got a trembler and the TV fell over and smashed into 1000 pieces. I am not a rich man, so I can't just afford to go out and pick up a new TV every time we have a quake. What got me was the low price of this projector, and the excellent resolution and contrast that it provides. All my favorites, like 007, are sharp and clear, with full vivid color. I can hook up my digital box to it for regular TV viewing, too. What a great substitute for my TV.

I have a half dozen sets of 3-D glasses from different shows we have gone to see, so to have a 3-D capable projector is a pretty phenomenal purchase, especially at the price I paid. My kids love to watch their 3-D videos, and we have quite a few of them. So, with our glasses, and the kids movies, the images just shoot off the screen (in our case, their bedroom wall). And the movie is so well defined, just beautiful and clean. This unit even has a TV tuner built in, so you don't have to hook it up to the TV for bigscreen quality in the house.
