This amp has power! I have two pyle pro PADH152 and they are LOUD! I am going to get two more high power dj speakers to go with this amp. Definitely worth the money! The microphones are awesome and there is a button on the remote labbeled 'LOUD' and it is a bass booster and it is like you have a pair of subwoofers next to them! This amp is n all-in-one deal that is worth the money! I love this amp!

PS: the cooling fan is not loud if you have the speakers within 10 feet of the amp or you turn it up.

After deciding to upgrade my small DJ set-up, I looked at many options. For the price and features (especially including a wireless mic), this was pretty much the only unit I could find for all-in-one at a really great price. In fact, it was the price and other reviews that kept me hesitant but decided for the price I would take a chance.

After receiving the unit, I am VERY happy thus far.

I would like to address the other reviewers comments.

re: Problems with units right out of the box. To this concern, I purchased the unit DIRECTLY from Amazon, even though I could have gotten elsewhere for a few bucks cheaper. Mostly because of Amazon's excellent record of great customer service. PLUS, I got some FREE music from Amazon for buying this thru them! As a side-note regarding music, I will only buy music from Amazon in the future as they have better prices and send MP3 files, NOT the m4A user-UNFRIENDLY files that i-tunes pawns off.

re: Fan noise. Yes, the fan does make some rushing wind noise. The fan cycles when needed (does not run continuous). For me, I get comfort that the unit has a strong cooling fan operation. As my application if for small venue DJ work, the sound level of my shows will completely cover anything from the fan. If you are using the unit in a home theatre application, this MIGHT be a concern. BUT, as stated earlier, this unit is BEST suited for DJ type settings, not necessarily home theater.

re: Power Output. I bought the 3003 unit. Power ratings are quite subject to so many interpretations, but maybe this will help. From the PylePro website, they also list these ratings for the 3003 unit;

*800 Watts @ 2 Ohms

*550 Watts @ 4 Ohms

*300 Watts @ 8 Ohms

What I don't know is if those numbers are for per channel or for 2 or 4 channels.

For MY application, I hooked it up to FOUR MTX TP1200 speakers (12" 2-way speakers, rated at 4 ohms and 150 watt RMS). It can run these speakers quite loud and what's interesting is that when I have just 2 playing (on the A channel)and then add in 2 more (on the B channel), the volume does NOT go down with the addition of 2 speakers. That is, the power is not divided, all 4 speakers play just as loud as if only 2 were hooked on.

re: The wireless microphones. WOW, these really are great sounding mics. They are "plastic" but for the price and quality, hard to beat!!

I haven't used my set-up at a venue as yet, but feel confident it will easily handle small to medium venues and will add to this review afer my first gig some time in February, 2012.

I will also be adding a PylePro 12" powered sub-woofer to help add more "noise" to the system. The fact that this unit has a separate Sub output and volume control is just another great aspect of this well-thought out unit!

One reviewer commented that the system seemed under-powered compared to his friends 2002 unit. He may not have known that the "Loudness" function is only accessible with the remote control? ONE feature I would have liked to see would be is for the unit to display if Loudness is on or not (it only shows you briefly when turning on/off with the remote) and a way to turn Loudness on/off from the units front controls. But hey, I can deal with it. . .

For a small/medium venue DJ who wants a LOT of features in a small package at an extremely affordable price, THIS IS IT!!!

I have a feeling that other reviewers may be trying to get way to much for their applications. ie: Trying to drive way too big of speaker loads at very high levels.

Ordered this unit from amazon reseller...GALACTICS, INC., after i got the unit on december 19, 2011, i opened the box.. and i was so disappointed that unit i ordered was in terrible condition...the display screen in front of the unit was all scratch, the antenna holder.. was all broken into pieces, microphone is not working and i found out small pieces inside the microphone is loose...batteries are inside the microphone and the remote control.. means it has been used.. no manuals....then i found out a sticker on the box says... DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE SLIP... reason... microphone doesnt work...in short unit was bought earlier by someone and returned it and it was passed to me as bad as it was... so im returning it.

Bought this system for use with my audio/video equipment at home and for family events.

PROS;

Easy instructions to follow for hookup to the TV, DVD player, ipod etc - one device for managing everything! Audio quality is excellent - hooked up to my Bose speakers when using my projector for viewing movies at home - definitely enhances the overall 'cinema' experience. Kids love the wireless mic, very good range.

CONS:

Cooling fan is a bit on the noisy side but if the volume is loud enough it is not bad. Remote does not have a power button - sounds lazy but it is a chore to manually turn off.

Overall - good value for money, works well.

yo lo compre y quede asombrado con el buen sonido y desempeño de este equipo,por eso se gananaron un 5 en puntuación , solo es visto que el ventilador aveces no enciende y entonce se calienta mucho, yo estoy pendiente y verifico, tengo que apagar y prender el equipo, para habilitar el ventilador entonces funciona correctamente.

I found this item on Amazon and thought I should give it a try as a friend of mine has a 1000W and it was excellent. So I thought, maybe I should get the 3000W to see how it is, if it's better than what my friend has.

Delivery came very fast... 5 stars from me on that regard. Unpacked and first thing I notice was the front panel screen was very scratchy... looks like an old glass on it... but everything else looks clean and brand new to me so it was kinda of strange to see that. So I hooked it up and turned it on, I am very impressed in the quality of the wireless microphones... but the biggest problem I notice was the cooling fan unit. It was super loud... extremely loud that I found it very annoying. When I play music if it's loud enough, we couldn't hear the fan running but as soon as the music stops... everybody was like what was that?

So I returned the item the very next day... not worth the money even though it's very good price.
