I got this guitar for my petite nine year old who wanted to learn to play guitar in her school music program. We don't have a lot of money and I really didn't want to spend much not knowing how she would like it. This turned out to be a great price for just what we needed.

It is giving her the exposure she needs right now. I'm not sure if she'll continue with the instrument, but for now this was the perfect size and the perfect price. The fact that it came with a carrying case and the picks was even better. The only thing we had to buy separately for the school was a tuner. So keep that in mind when purchasing.

Wooden piece where strings attach was broken out of box. What a ripoff. Next time I will not buy this type of item on online.
