The unit looks good, is small and easy to carry. I haven't tried hooking a CD palyer into it yet. I can turn it up loud enough for it to be heard outside (through the walls). I have no idea how it would work on a guitar. My electric violin has a preamp, with a piezo pickup.
It may not work much better than the cheaper Danelectric, but it does look nicer.
The amp itself is somewhat smaller than I expected, though still very solid and sturdily constructed. The sound however is quite impressive for its size. Good quality output at a surprising volume for such a small unit. I will say that for violins at least, the best tone seems to come from turning the treble all the way down.
VERY pleased with the unit, given the extremely reasonable price. Highly recommended for a beginner's startup set.

This thing can't be dual voltage. I plugged it into a 220v socket and it poped and had a burning smell. Never turns on. I instantly returned it.Published 2 months ago by J. Rivera
Just what I needed. I purchase this amp to use at home when I'm practicing my bass. My grand daughter uses it on her lead. Read morePublished on July 14, 2013 by D. Hickman
