This watch is fun. I say fun because you can enjoy it more because of the price, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG. It works, altimeter, barometer, compass, and thermometer. I like the compass better than my Suunto Observer TT because the compass will stay operational as long as it is being used ( does not cut off after a short period ). The light is great and the watch doesn't weigh a ton. The sensor is under the watch next to your wrist, I have not seen this to be a problem so far. Also the bezel does rotate but is not the smoothest of movement.
It is not small, about 2.25" between the strap hinges and 2" across the buttons but is very comfortable to wear ( I have smaller wrist ).
If you have had a Suunto, it will take some getting use to. Instructions are not as in-depth and if this is your first watch of this type you may go a while before discovering all operations.
I recommend going to Pyles website and search altimeter and read the instructions. I checked the altimeter against GPS and functions very well( YOU DO NEED TO ADJUST THE ALTIMETER OFTEN, JUST LIKE MY $500 SUUNTO )
BTW I like the looks of the watch, plastic never look so good.

The watch does everything as advertised. The large face makes it easy to read all of the different functions. However, the directions on how to use it and set it up properly are very inadequate especially with the batometer and altimeter. In my mind this multifunction watch needs a small book or a web address to get detailed directions not just a fold out pamphlet!

I am going to echo many of the other reviewers here and suggest you steer clear of this watch and company. Only a few months after I got this watch, It often went blank. I have to reset it to get back to work. Now it goes blank almost very day.

I emailed the seller and got this:

Send the watch with all of the packaging to the address below.
Include a copy of the sales receipt along a letter stating what is wrong with the item.
Indicate your name, number, mailing address and email.
Include $15 money order or process via credit card over the phone.

I don't have the packaging anymore, and I certainly wouldn't pay $15 to have a defective product replaced. Every product I've ever bought has had a 1 year warranty and if the product was defective, the manufacturer. has paid shipping costs. I already paid shipping costs once when I bought the product and I should pay again for a replacement? Makes no sense. Most manufacturers bend over backwards to get you a new product at their cost because they want you as a return customer and it's what's fair anyway.

If I was a lawyer I would seriously consider a class-action suit. The watch is supposed to have a 1 year warranty. The Magnussan Moss Warranty Act clearly states that the seller must provide a remedy (in this case a replacement)at the seller's cost until the purchaser is satisfied.

Even if there weren't a written warranty, the seller has still breached the "implied warranty of merchantability" covered in the warranty act which covers all products.

Funny, in one of the reviews, a rep for the company left his phone # for a reviewer who needed a little help with the altimeter. How come he doesn't offer up his number for those of us who don't have a working product?

Lastly, 20 years ago I had a pyle driver subwoofer in my car. It was epic. Too bad their crappy watches have sullied their (once good) reputation.

My suggestion:
Don't buy this watch. Don't buy anything from this seller. And give that guy (company rep) a call...

I've been using this watch for the past week or so and I am pleased with it. The barometer seems to be spot on with the weather and my indoor barometer. The weather forecast is accurate after it starts collecting data. The altimeter is pretty good for a barometric altimeter. You have to keep in mind that even the altimeters in aircraft must be adjusted frequently. I just use my cell phones gps every once in a while. The compass is great. Even settings to adjust for declination angle. The thermometer doesn't do you any good unless you take it off your wrist and for about 20 minutes. I did manage to accidentally reset the whole watch today somehow and had to set it up again. The instructions are not horrible if you understand these measurements and sensors. There are more precise instruments out there but for the price I payed I am pretty satisfied.

This watch worked well for about one month. Then I took a trip to Sicily where I especially wanted the altimeter to work. Well, it stopped functioning just when I needed it. I tried calling customer support at Pyle and was put on hold forever. I tried this several times on different days at different times with the same result-they just will not allow anyone to contact them. E-mails were equally frustrating- no answer to repeated e-mails. Well, I gave up and decided to just use it without an altimeter or barameter(the barameter quit with the altimeter). At least the compass still worked. So here I am right now in Equador. I just returned from a trip into the jungle to visit volcano Reventador (the kind of thing where you need a compass). In the middle of the jungle the watch goes dead. I finally hit upon the idea to check the battery and removed and reinserted it (difficult in the rain). The watch worked again-for a while. I had to reset everything but did not know the time so I could not set the time. Fortunately, I also had a real compass so although I did not know the time, I found the way back out. The watch just goes dead every once in a while and has to be reset and recalibrated. In other words-it is useless. I am thinking of reclimbing the volcano just so I CAN HAVE THE PLEASURE OF THROWING IT INTO THE CRATER.

This watch is cheap.

The bezel on it popped off within the first week and I had to glue it back down so it did not look odd. Now it will not turn but at least it is on there. Additionally, the buttons are easily pushed in such a way as to cause it to reset at odd times. I have had to set the time and date at least 20 times a week.

For the money, this is a bad purchase.

I bought in late Aug. 2012.

1. nothing is working correctly except the timer.
Altimeter never works correctly.
Barometric weather forecasts never correct.
the Thermometer: because it is a watch, you always wear it, so the Thermometer does not show you correct temperature.
I only use it as a time piece.

2. just 2 months after I got this watch, It often went blank. I have to reset it to get back to work. Now it went blank almost very day.

3. I emailed to the seller, I had a response and post here:
-----------------
Send the watch with all of the packaging to the address below.
Include a copy of the sales receipt along a letter stating what is wrong with the item.
Indicate your name, number, mailing address and email.
Include $10 money order or process via credit card over the phone.

I have to get all the packaging and send $10 for processing fee to have a fix (replacement)
I have to spend time and shipping charge for the not working correctly "Sports Watch".
I don't think it is worth to do that. plus II don't have the "packaging" anymore.

So I tell them: Forget it.

My suggestion:
Don't buy this watch. even don't buy anything from this seller.

Well, simply wearing the item on your wrist will cause it to spontaneously reset itself. so if you really enjoy looking at your wrist to tell time... your better off super gluing a sun dial to your wrist. at least then you have some sort of idea.

I purchased is watch months ago... had to put get rid of it within 2 weeks. I live in colorado, and do a lot of men climbing love the altimeter and the "weather" forecast function.
The watch performed del, BUT ALWAYS reset randomly. I would hear a long beep. and the whole watch would be reset.. blinking.. and I had to recalibrate the whole thing all over again. The time, date, compass, altimeter, it was such a pain in the bottom. the weather forecast function was not actuate at all. (but I can't blame the watch maker, even weatherman can't properly predict the weather) I do like the color scheme of the watch. It's too much trouble to return and get refund, so i am in the market for a better watch. I should have saved time and bought me a better quality watch.
i hope this review helps.

Whoever says this watch is to difficult to understand is a moron. It comes with detailed directions and is everything that is advertized. I recommend this watch to anyone. I am not sure about the water resistance yet but if it incurs damage I will let you know.
