I take brisk walks five times a week. The watch has a pacer function where it will beep so many times per minute. I did not like it at first, especially if I set the beeps per minute too low. I finally did the following:
I measure how many left plus right steps I take moving briskly and figure my average steps per minute as about 124.
I divide this by two = 62; I round this up to the next highest 5 = 65, and set the pacer to beep at 65 BPM.
I wear the watch on my left arm and whenever it beeps I am taking a right step. If I fall a little behind, I catch up, etc.

The speed at which you travel is a function of the steps per minute and the length of each step. this watch will reduce one of those two variables and your speed will tend to be more uniform.

This watch is not a heart rate monitor.

I bought this watch to replace my previous stopwatch whose wristband broke. I use it for my weightlifting routine at the gym, and have found two problems: 1) The buttons, which are annoyingly all on the sides, are so sensitive that I can't even put the watch in my pocket or some button will be pushed, causing an error. 2) The STOP and LAP functions aren't labeled. This is a minor nuisance, but the first problem makes the watch almost impossible to use for multi-lap activities where you can't have the watch on your wrist.

For the price, a good watch. A little hard to read the directions but I'm getting it down. The word Mode is disappearing from the watch so when other words get worn off, I'll be a little lost. I should have the functions down by then I hope.

Great, tough watch. Use it for Emergency services. Big enough to easily read. Only downside (to me at least) is that the clasp is a little uncomfortable after a while. Other than that, great watch.

The large numbers on this watch make it easy to see, especially in low light. Doesn't reguire an engineering degree to operate.
