The Pyle PDWM2600 is a wireless microphone system featuring a half-rack mountable UHF base unit and includes two wireless microphones. Since this system uses the UHF frequency, you get greater wireless range for your microphones with less interference and fewer dropouts than in a VHF system, making it perfect for large events.
With technology like Audio Mute Circuitry and Advanced Companding Circuitry, you'll get crisp, high-quality audio out of your system. This system is perfect for karaoke events, mobile DJ setups, public speaking, and religious functions, and thanks to the two included microphones, smooth R&B duets are now easier than ever.
These wireless microphones give you the freedom and mobility needed for active, energetic performances. They're built for events with multiple speakers, so handing off microphones is a breeze. The two antennas on the base unit sync up to each respective microphone, meaning that each microphone gets the strongest signal possible for your events.
Our audio mute circuitry technology cuts off background and ambient noise in the room, so you get a clearer performance with less noise.
The PDWM2600 also features advanced companding circuitry, which reduces noise and crosstalk levels on the receivers. This means the dynamic range of the received signal is nearly the same as the original, giving you the same high quality sound you would get from wired microphones. The result is less background hiss and overload distortion, helping to ensure your performances are as clear and strong as possible.
This unit comes with two microphones which are great for performances involving two people. Each microphone has its own volume dial on the base unit so you can balance the vocals as desired. Each microphone is on its own channel so you can control them individually, and are color coded for easy reference. Uses 2 AA batteries.
Each microphone includes a standby mode which lets you shut the microphone off without completely cutting the circuit, meaning you can turn it back on instantly without any noise or waiting time.
The PDWM2600 features an XLR connector balanced ouput, giving you the highest quality sound possible out of your system. Balanced outputs give you less sound interference when using your cables so you can run them long and still get the clearest sound possible. The unit also features a mixed ¼-inch output which lets you hook up multiple microphones using a mixer.

I'm a part-time Karaoke host at a couple local bars in my town. A contemporary of mine put together the Mother-of-all-Karaoke Rigs: 12-channel mixing board, Electro-Voice speakers, preamps, compressors, sonic maximizers, Shure x-series wireless mics, intelligent EQs--and everything he bought was from professional music supply houses and brand-new.
I'm exactly the opposite; this isn't my career--it's just a fun hobby. I have a Mackie 808S 8 Channel Powered Mixer driving two JBL loudspeakers and a floor monitor. Period. My rig sounds pretty decent, and I didn't break the bank assembling it. After all, it's not like Britney Spears or Eminem are performing at my shows. However, I liked my buddy's wireless mics, so when I off-handedly asked him what the four of them set him back, I nearly passed out when he said "Oh yeah! I got 'em on sale! Only $659 apiece!" After a gagging spit-take, I said "Looks like I'll be sticking with my Seindheisser corded mics for a while." That was until I found this Pyle setup on Amazon here. Okay, they're not Shures. That much is certain. But for the money, they're really decent little mics. They feel lightweight and plasticky, but have a semi-rubberized coating on them much like my ThinkPad does. The power switches are recessed and fairly rugged, and the battery compartment cover screws onto the bottom of the mics snugly and with authority. On the back are two balanced XLR outputs--one for each mic--and a single unbalanced 1/4" mixed output. You could use this set on a professional rig, like I do with XLR cables, or connect it to your home stereo with the 1/4". And the sound? It sounds very decent. The radios work well, with no interference at all. However, the unit puts out an inordinate lot of highs, so to stave off feedback I have to pot down the high EQ on the channels it's connected to. But they still sound good nonetheless. Besides, unlike my buddy, who will doubtless get a peptic ulcer worrying about his wicked-expensive mics in the hands of inebriated revelers, because of the low price, I worry significantly less about Drunkie McDrunkelstein dropping it--I could replace the whole set with less than half the proceeds from a single gig, if necessary. All-in-all, these mics are a good value for the money. I've been very happy with them.

At first I would have recommended this wireless mike system to anyone. I went 50-60 feet away from the box and even got out of the line of sight of it and still had great sound quality. If used for a meeting hall though I would make sure all cell phones are turned off or you do get a little sound interference. I used to be told we can't hear you now I hear turn it down you're too loud. I use these mics for about 2 hours once a month. The mics are now about 5 months old they have never been dropped or mishandled and now 1 of the mics has started acting like it is overheating and shuts off while in use or half the box is acting up. Turn off the switch then turn it back on it works a couple minites then acts up again. It actually shows a signal like being used when not. The other one still works fine though. I guess what do you expect for $100 wireless mics. Now a little over a year old, one mike quit last week and the other one quit last night. This set is the biggest piece of junk you could own. Spend a little extra money and buy a better set. With just over a year old and no abuse and both mikes have quit I wouldn't reccommend to anyone. It still is $100.00 I'm out and have to find a better set on a tight budget. When I complained about the first problem I was told send it back (even though they were still under warranty) I would have to pay postage and insurance back and send Pyle $15.00. A one year warranty should cover everything for the warranty period!!! No cost to the consumer.

Excellent wireless mics I bought for my daughter. The sound quality is very good and range was better than expected. Anywhere in the house ranging in 70 feet and on different floor s you could here me clearly. I would not have bought them if not for the previous review. Be careful if you drop mic, might loosen contact inside mouth piece. Its very easy to fix with soldiering iron or just electric tape. If not for the previous review I would not have bought it. Keep the reviews coming in!!!!!!
