5.0 out of 5 stars See for yourself! November 2, 2011
Length: 3:32 Mins
I got this Pyle Pro Amp to replace my old crummy one that i have been messing with for years. I can't tell you how exited i am to finally have something that works and sounds fab. It has a few features i particularly like- first on the back it has two audio hook ups so i can leave my lPs and my computer plugged in a and switch between them as i want.
It also has a usb hook up so you can plug in an mp3 player directly.
It has more power than my current speakers can handle so i guess i have to upgrade those next. For now though i am really pleased with this Pyle Amp and i think the price is better than fair.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! October 15, 2011

Wow! For the money this receiver is a great deal! I have it hooked up to a pair of Klipsch Heresy 2's and it rocks the house. I love the usb plug in, the two microphone jacks with bass, treble, echo and a seperate volume control to sing along with whatever your media source and the way it scans for radio stations when you set it up. Since the description is unclear it has outputs for 4 speakers, 2 rca inputs, 2 microphone jacks so two people can sing along with at the same time(this feature is disgustingly entertaining!) and a mp3 usb port. It also has a bass and treble adjustment for the main volume. The unit is sonically tight and crisp with amazingly no audio hum! I could not believe that it pulls all of the stations that my Sansui TU-717 pulls in on a similar antenna. The high volume internal cooling fan is definately efficient! The only thing missing is a preamp/amp split so that I could run a tube buffer or graphic eq but hey I really am thinking out of the price range of this unit! I bought this system for my son who was quite the doubter but after it was hooked up he was solid on the fact that his old man did his research. Anyway his smile tells the tale!

1.0 out of 5 stars Designed by "WannaBe" engineers January 17, 2012

Not a consistent clear/clean sound, very loud fan that is always on full strength and a remote control that doesn't work no mater what after you have touched its "display" button (crazy).

I also had no success when trying to get other universal remotes configured to control the device.

I honestly believe the unit was designed be some Engineering "WannaBees" or "drop outs". It was probably designed overseas and didn't pass their own design quality test and so its being "dumped" here.

I would strongly recommend avoiding it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap product!
I understand why the price was dropped so much. I was unable to connect any of my stereo equipment and have it work properly if at all, not even my m-audio speakers. Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Sound Distorted
The receiver sounds distorted at any volume and with any speaker configuration. Otherwise the receiver works perfectly and that's it.

First problem I have with this receiver is you can't set the channel presets. Also the speaker wire terminals are NOT clamps and it took me a while to screw them in. Read more

Dissapointment. The remote only controls the volume and channel selection. Cooling fan is noisy. Receiver is barely acceptable. I wish I hadn't bought it. Read more
