Quality Issues,

Here's my experience with this chair:Box arrived from Amazon, shipping was excellent, box in great shape. Despite this, 1 bag of the bolts was opened, scattered in the box; they were all there, with one extra. Foam: Medium to low quality. After about 2 months of use, the foam doesn't spring back. Tilt Lock Mechanism: This has started to wiggle, after a few hours of sitting in it, it will slide out to allow the chair to tilt. Easy enough to remedy with a piece of tape; but still shouldn't do this, tilting all of a sudden when you aren't expecting it to is rather startling and a bit of a safety concern; I'm tempted to let the Consumer Product Safety folks know of this particular issue, I can forsee someone getting hurt if this is a flaw in the design rather than a fluke on mine. Connections: There are 3 connections under the chair, 1 for controls/speakers - 1 for bass, and the last for the power. Probably due to the bolts being scattered in the box, 1 pin was slightly bent; chair isn't 100% operational as a result. Two months into my purchase, I'm still dealing with Pyramat's warranty return; although I could shorten this by dealing with Amazon. Pyramat does answer the phone and apparently *tries* to please their customers. My first contact with them resulted in being directed to another number; fine. After calling that number and giving them the serial number, I had to send an email - fine.... All is ok? No. After waiting about a month, I emailed them again asking about the status. Two days later I get a response that I need to fax them the receipt. They could have said so during my intial call :) So now another month has passed and still no replacement. I'll get this resolved, that I have no doubt; they do seem to be helpful, but will have to spend a bit of time on the phone being pushy it appears. I'm going to give this two stars. I appreciate the design; the construction is sturdy for the most part. They need to revisit the connections and use a type of plug that isn't prone to bent pins, use better foam and address the tilt mechanism.

This chair sounds good only with video games. The bass is horrible for music. The lights on it are too bright for dark rooms. One head turn to the left or right and the LED blinds you. The cushioning on the seat gave out and started going flat in one weeks time. The backrest on mine is crooked because of misaligned screw holes from the factory. You can't put any weight on the armrests for getting up because they will break off. The armrests are screwed into the seat and backrest's cardboard like material. The armrest cushions are simply glued on, so each time you take your arm off you hear the tackiness of the glue starting to give out. I do like the recline feature and how it makes my computer games sound though. Battery life is tolerable for casual gaming. I got a little better sound hooking up my source directly. I didn't like the placement of the volume knobs cause i was always rolling main volume back to zero by accident. Separate bass volume was nice. Overall it is an acceptable CASUAL chair. Don't make this huge oversized chair your corporate seat it will not stand up from its cheap materials. And for those who want more detail I rate this chair with a usuable frequency from 120hz to 13khz. There is no low bass whatsoever.

Unbelievable on how it arrived,
This review is from: Pyramat Wireless PC Gaming Chair 2.1 (Sports)
I never got the chance to use the product. Showed up in a crushed box. Granted the courier is somewhat responsible but when I opened the box the chairs contents were literally just thrown into this box with no packaging material to protect it in transist. Don't waste your money. I sent mine back without even removing it from the box. I spend at least a couple thousand a year with Amazon which they are great. This is one product and retailer though they need to drop. Dosen't make them look very good.

Mistake,

Do not buy this chair. The speaker system works OK but will not pass as your only speakers. I use the chair as the back two speakers in a surround set up. The foam is low quality and has gone totally flat with no cushioning. Chair has become painful to sit in. Not what you want in a gaming chair. The cloth covering is already starting to fray after two months. The arm controller window was not attached to the housing and became detached. If I cannot get a refund I will try to take the elctronics and put in a decent chair

Stiff chair without back adjustment. Uncomfortable seat pad. Flimsy construction. Lots of gee-whiz lights and controls. Good for kids.

Service For Gaming Chair Hard To Believe,
This review is from: Pyramat Wireless PC Gaming Chair 2.1 (Sports)
Pyramat Wireless PC Gaming Chair 2.1 Purchased chair from amazon on Nov. 30th and received the chair on Dec. 2nd. Perfect so far, open it up on Dec. 25th and inventory every part in box except for the hardware bolts washers and plastic caps. Call Pyramat on the 26th and it started out OK until the young lady told me that the hardware is not kept in stock and it would take 3-4 weeks for it to get to me. Now through no fault of my own but in the packing thats on there end, I have to wait another month just to put it together and see if it works. Outragous, I received the entire chair faster than 12 bolts and washers.

Easy assembly, free trial of amazon prime gave me free fast shipping, and overall a pretty good deal. The amp is pretty good for it's size and will provide good vibration throughout the lower/mid back and the back of the bottom. I thought the blue lights would be annoying since my desk has a mirror behind it, but they don't bother me at all. I've only found two problems with the chair. Problem one: When using Winamp (only had this problem with Winamp)the sound tends to cut out for about two second every five minutes or so. The other problem: when using a cell phone less than a foot away from the sensor, the sound cuts off like when using winamp, but this time with any program that's running sound. No biggie, could just be because I use Cricket, and Cricket is cheap.Oh, as I was writing this, I was making ramen in my microwave that's in the same room and I noticed the sound got fuzzy. Once the ramen was done, the sound was perfect again. Hmmm... But otherwise, the wireless works great, I have my chair about four feet away from the sensor and no problems no matter what direction the chair is facing. Haven't tried the direct input port yet to see if the Winamp problem fixes itself, as wireless works fine enough for me. Overall, a very good deal for a nice gaming chair that actually has armrests!

This chair is an ok buy. It is very comfortable, that is the one thing I will give it. However the audio on the chair is a little below par. The highs located by your head are fairly clear, but the sub however is poor. For one it is not filtered, if they would have installed a low pass filter to eliminate the highs that come out of it, then it might be decent. The pin connectors are very cheap, one pin inside the cable that goes to the highs was bent. I had to take pliers to it and pray it didnt break off when i plugged it in. If you are looking for a computer game chair with built in audio because you dont have any speakers this would be a good buy. But if you are just looking for a comfortable chair to play games in I would not recommend this. You can find much better quality for the price!

Pyramat Wireless PC Gaming Chair 2.1,

Chair is a little short I'm 5'10" and the neck rest hits me between my shoulders. Padding needs to be a little firmer. The sound is not bad but my left leg keeps turning the volume up and down due to it being on the inside of the armrest.

Good Chair, Crappy Stereo,
By
This review is from: Pyramat Wireless PC Gaming Chair 2.1 (Sports)
I bought this chair at Sharper Image for $86 (store closing sale). It has thick foam padding (especially on the arms) with soft, black microfiber. Easy to assemble. The controls on the left arm are very convenient. Setting up the wireless transmitter is easy if you're hooking it up to a computer. Do not buy this chair if you think it's going to replace your stereo. The bass response is decent, but certainly not overwhelming and the speakers on either side of the headrest are pretty crappy. The equivalent of a a cheap portable stereo. That being said, if you put a Y-splitter in your speaker port and use your chair speakers as rear surrounds it sounds really nice.
