5.0 out of 5 stars Safety Glasses
Perfect fit for children between the ages of 6 and 14. Genuinely surprised that the product was not a toy but a miniature version of certified safety eyewear.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not very good for the price
These cost $5, but they are hardly any better than generic $2 safety classes. I would much rather have UVEX Genesis glasses for $7.00-$9.00Uvex S3300 Genesis XC Safety Eyewear, Black Frame, Clear Ultra-Dura Hardcoat Lens. They are much more comfortable, have replaceable lenses ($5-$6 each), a soft non-slip nose piece, and adjustable ear pieces.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect fit, December 21, 2010

This is a perfect fit for my five-year-old granddaughter who likes to help me in the yard and shop. I bought her some hearing protection a while back but until finding these safety glasses had been unable to find eye protection. These really widened the number of chores that she can "help" with.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not Just for Miniature Heads!, June 23, 2011

I don't know about the rest of you, but when I read the word "mini", I automatically think of very small things. Miniature horses, for example, that I could not ride. Miniature candy bars that leave me wanting a much larger candy bar, not that bite-sized piece of sweet goodness that merely whet my appetite and left me in a sugar-induced frenzy, searching under my couch cushions for lost M&M's better left to the abyss. Thus, when I saw these safety glasses that were both stylish and provided the full wrap around coverage that I was seeking, I was somewhat concerned that I would order them and they would arrive only to disappoint. After all, they proudly bear the mini title, and it was quite possible that they would better adorn mini people.

By no stretch of the imagination could I be considered a miniature person, unless the persons doing the considering were unusually large.

In order to best make this review useful, it should be noted that I am slender female and have very high cheekbones. Often, safety glasses (or sports sunglasses) built like this will collide with my cheekbones, the lenses being somewhat too large - or my cheekbones too prominent - combination thereof? Anyway, the point here being this. These safety glasses fit like a charm on my skinny adult face. So well, in fact, that I was mowing the yard in some seriously blustery wind the other afternoon and nary a stray blade of grass accosted my eyeballs.

On a final note, the visual quality of the lenses is very good. These aren't your blurry lab glasses from high school that made even your chem teacher look moderately attractive. Oh no - if you were wearing these in class, you'd still be able to see every pock mark on his face. Except, you wouldn't have been wearing these in class, because these also work as sunglasses, and then you'd be mixing chemicals in the dark, and we all know how well that works out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fits a 5year old face, December 30, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Bought these for my five year old son. They fit his face very well and they are very stylish. I bought them to protect his eyes, when he plays with a particular Christmas toy. I thought that I would have trouble getting him to wear them, however, he loves them so much, I can't get him to take them off. They fit just right, they are stylish, and they are REAL safety glasses, not toys.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality, look great child size, November 11, 2010

My daughter is using them for short track speed-skating. They feel solid and made much better then you would expect for the price.
They are snug (as needs to be) for a child with ribber holding glasses securely on the face.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good glasses for kids or those with small faces, May 4, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have a lot of trouble getting kids to wear safety glasses. It is funny, immaturity gives one kind of a fog which obscures self-preservation. These glasses help, since they fit better. But, there is a warning not to provide them to children under the age of 12. Still, it is better than no safety glasses.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Cheap Glasses, November 18, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought these safety glasses for cycling, to protect my eyes from sand and other debris on the road. I bought two pairs, the blue mirror anti-fog and the clear for night-time riding. The blue ones aren't tinted very dark, but dark enough to make riding into the sunset/rise an easier experience. They work well for keeping stuff out of my eyes, but they do fog up from time to time, even though I bought the anti-fog variety. I can remedy this by keeping them farther out on my nose rather than right up to my face - then they don't fog up. I'm giving four-stars instead of five because of the fog issue, but really, for as cheap as these are, they're a great choice because when they inevitably get scratched up, it'll cost me all of $10 to replace both pairs!

These glasses were purchased for my nephew who is very interested in fossils and geodes. These safety glasses were well worth the money spent to protect his eyes from flying chips of rock. They fit well, which means he doesn't mind wearing them.
