I use this for a motorized bike with a clutch. Best thing ever.. Would recomend this to any one, easy to install also.

Put it on a motorized bike.
Works great, no more stupid 3 lever mess.

I used this brake lever to convert a drop-bar tandem road bicycle with two rear brakes into an upright (hybrid style) bike. There are not a lot of options for two-cable levers of this style, and I'm glad the only one I could find easily was inexpensive and perfectly suitable. It works much better than the original lever I had. I used it with an Arai drum brake and cantilever rim brakes. I used "Rip Cord" cables and get excellent feel and response.

The setup on my gas powered bike has a clutch lever on the left handle bar. Between the clutch and brake lever being so close it presented a safety problem.
Combining both brakes to one lever on the right side eliminated this hazard.

I still do not get how the person who left a negative review managed to break anything on this. I installed this on a 68 Schwinn Collegiate that is being upgraded from the ground up. I had the original brake levers on it for about a year and they seemed loose regardless of the tweaking i would do to the lines themselves. I got this, installed it, and now i stop a million times harder which is AWESOME. The construction is solid, not just on the outer body, but in the actual mechanism that controls both as well. The only parts anybody might find a little cheap are the adjustment knows which are a light plastic compared to the rest, but who cares, they hold the cable in place and that's what you need. Overall, I'm extremely happy I bought this.

PS: The fact that it frees up a handle bar makes it all the better.

Can find no real fault with this product. I assemble motorized bikes for people and started using this product to free-up the left side of the handlebars for a clutch lever. It does exactly what the name says. You use the cables already on your bike and insert them into the Dual Cable Brake Lever. One thing that may be a problem for some, you have to slide the DCB Lever on from the end of the handlebar which necessitates removing the hand grip. It works perfectly.

I have used this on a bike with a 80cc motor and find it perfect , this is the best dual brake , I am also installing one on ALL my bikes, with and without motors .........

I love the "Dual Cable Brake Lever" it is just what I wonted This fit just perfectly on my bicycle I like that you could pull both brakes with just one handle.

I needed to have 1 brake so my left hand could work the clutch on my Zoombike 80cc.
I adjusted the front a bit looser than the rear & it works perfectly.
