The BNPS102 from Pyramid Car Audio features two 10-inch woofers in a custom-built band-pass box. This drop-in system is designed to create some serious bass, with a monster 1,000 watts of power handling and its bandpass design. As an added bonus, the built-in neon accent lighting gives it an attractive custom look.

High-Powered Subs
The BNPS102 comes loaded with two 10-inch high-powered Pyramid subwoofers. They feature a silver polypropylene cone for rigidity with good internal damping, to deliver more accurate and well-rounded low-end. Polypropylene is also known for its weather resistance, which is ideal for the temperature extremes common to automobile applications.

A specially treated rubber surround is also ready for a beating, and the 2-inch aluminum voice coil can handle high temperatures, for all-around performance no matter how hard you're hitting it.

Bandpass Design
Bandpass enclosures give you the best of both worlds. In this case, the two 10-inch subs are mounted inside a sealed chamber, which then deliver sound to the ported chamber through four specially tuned ports and into your vehicle. The result is a narrow frequency range with tons of volume, without sacrificing efficiency.

A Little Flash . . .
Sound may be everything, but a little bit of visual appeal never hurts. The BNPS102 features a plexiglass front window and built-in neon accent lighting with that in mind.

My car has one of the most pathetic subwoofers in the history of the planet. Likewise, I found it necessary to find another. Lo and behold, I found this one. After calling several sound equipement stores and talking to several sound experts, I decided that this product was the best value for my money. A few days later, it arrived and I was incredibly excited to see it. There was nothing wrong with the product, it came with the exact specifications that were shown online. There was only one problem. I knew nothing about sound. I had to call my friend, a car and sound expert, who told me what else I needed to buy. He told me what wires I needed, and what amplifier I needed. If you know a lot about cars and how to install sound systems and the like, I highly recommend this product. If you have a friend who can help you with it, I still highly recommend it. Even with the extra equipment I had to buy, this was still the best value. The quality of the sound is fantastic. I take a great sense in pride when I drive down the street and I hear other subwoofers and I think "mine's louder". The LED lights that light up with the beat of the music is also a very nice touch!

* Pyle PLA2210 1800W 2-Channel and 4-Channel Chopper Amplifier
* RAPTOR GL15 Ground Loop Isolator

The subwoofers sound great and the neons work. I was surprised that capacitor does not have a remote switch; it just stays on. The amp is great! I have not problems here. The ground loop isolator did not work. I put its own special review in its section! Besides the hiccup, the system works great. I hope this helps.

i am a professional bass player and i have to say this is a very cost effective bass for those that want a nice punch to your music. it can't handle a mind numbing beat but it does well for the average beat.
