The training handle was made of sturdy material and the grip felt good. Major issue is the clamp going on bike was too small! Could not fit around tube so bought Balance Buddy which connects to bolts on back tire. Worked great.

This helped more than any training wheel could ever think of. Yes, it takes someone's time to help, but the benefit is well worth it.

We purchased this bike handle to help our two daughters learn how to ride a 2 wheeler. The handle is a definite help but it would have been better if there was a wider handle. My one daughter needs more help w/balance and gripping the handle to keep her bike from falling sideways is more of a challenge because the handle is round and you are using one arm/hand as you run along side of the bike. Great exercise for Mom or Dad because you need to stay with the bike. : ) All in all, it does work and if your child does not have a balance issue for long, it is really nice. One daughter is now riding w/o much use at all and other daughter (w/balance issues) is also coming along well. Takes much practice though and we've not been able to provide much of that. Try it out.....some kids learn within a week or two and this handle saves your back! As for the company I purchased this from (bikeworldUSA), I would not suggest using them as they really were not helpful and charged me expedited shipping cost instead of what I asked for nor did I receive. They would not agree to pay the difference in the end even though they were clearly at fault. It seems with their company, customer does not come first. Other companies sell this product however and I have found a less expensive version at WalMart in the bike section.
