The quality of the bar is good, the chrome is very nice.

Basically the same thing, however, they are not getting 5 stars, because the center area was small in diameter and needed to be shimmed to fit tightly.

My beach cruiser was in need of some new handlebars and these high riser's really fit the bill.

i have 2 tricycles which had these flat handlebars which when i turned the bike, i would get hit in the leg with the bars. saw these hi-rise bars, ordered them and wow, what a difference. highly suggest these.

The bike handle bars are excellent and just what I needed. The only problem was the statment that they were Double stem. The one knureled part did not extend to both the clamping brackets , so I did get a little
of it for both brackets. I do not know if this will slip or not . Other wise this is a great price, delivered on time and was what was discribed.

It took a while for me to get these handlebars.Just wondering why it needed to go through seven different UPS terminals to get from NY to NC. The quality of the bar is good, the chrome is very nice. The problem I, and a few others have had is that they fit loose. Most bars you buy are slightly larger where they tie to the neck hub. These stay the same thickness from start to finish so there's no way to fully tighten them down without a spacer. You can order one from here,
[...]

The spacer will cost you $4 plus shipping, but if you have the means to SAFELY cut metal I would suggest buying a 1 inch copper coupling for about a buck or two. Any hardware store carries these. Sit it end to end in a vise and slice it down the middle on one side. Spread it open and slide over the bars and have it in the neck stem when you tighten the bars. In some situations it might be better to cut the coupling in two halves to ease wedging them into the stem. Some couplings are shorter than others, but it may stick out slightly on the outside edge of the neck stem. If you can't trim it neatly and it bothers you,I would suggest buying a BMX headset that has four bolts to hold this baby on. If anyone else has a better solution by all means post it! I like the look and feel of the bars and like I said before the chrome was beautiful.

If you're handy, which you must be if you're messin with a bike, this is an easy fix. If this is your first build (and or) new to tinkering with stuff, Take it to a shop so you don't damage the bars or your bike.

I wanted these for a "rat rod" bike project, because I was using an original pair from '67. I wanted to preserve the old pair and bought these.
Basically the same thing, however, they are not getting 5 stars, because the center area was small in diameter and needed to be shimmed to fit tightly. The handlebars just would not tighten on this particular bike.
That's the biggest disappointment for me. Other then that, the chrome is of good quality and the height is just right (for me).

I took a grinder to these and then welded them permanently onto a rat bike project I am working on for a friend. They are tough and held up to the grinder and the welding and I would say they are tough and make a bike look great! Well worth the price, and came in a good sized box.

My beach cruiser was in need of some new handlebars and these high riser's really fit the bill. The price was right and it was a simple matter to remove the old ones and add these stylish "Ape Hangers" Quality seemed top notch to me and I'm styling now.
See you at the beach!

I may be wrong but I thought double stem would have two separate areas of knurling for attachment to the bike. This bar has only one area of knurling in the center. The picture shows this but the description said double stem. I paid more for this feature and didn't get it.

These are a little taller than I wanted but they works. The diameter is a hair to small to fit snug, so I put a rubber gasket around it to get more bite. It's time for lunch now. Remember to eat your veggies.
