I bought this basket for my 7 year old son's "mountain bike" or "BMX" bike. When we take trips to the local library it gives him a place to put the books and his water.

At first my son was very frustrated with this because the basket constantly fell off. After about a week I determined that I needed to use the "zip strips" to hold it onto the bike handles. Now he's happy...it doesn't fly off anymore. But, I also cannot get it off his bike without cutting those zip strips. Thus far, he doesn't mind it being on there all the time.

Also, this bike basket truly is meant for what I call "old lady bikes." This type of bike is the one where it's meant for leisurely ride...kind of like a Julie Andrews bicycle. The BMX and mountain bikes have handle bars that tilt toward the rider making the basket tilt back too. It works for us, but not ideal for those bikes.

Overall, we're glad he has it. The library is more important than style.

Simply Awesome, I can ride with a 30 pack of beer in this basket with no problems. It also detaches. Booyah

Just what I was looking for. An adult's basket big enough for a few small grocery items, and can be removed easily when I'm not shopping. The handle is an added bonus! Lets me take the whole basket into a market, and know when it's full!

I put this on the front of my three wheel bicycle at work. I am an IT professional and in the basket I put my tool bag whick is pretty heavy. The basket has held up fine for months. I highely reccomend.

a little large for a cruiser but if you fiddle with it, it will fit on the handlebars just fine,i love the handle on it and the actual space to hold things like my purse or water bottle is great!

I recieved the bike basket I ordered way ahead of the time my order stated & I'm very happy about that. I used the basket for a Medical Walker for the 73 yr. old man I am the caregiver for & it works wonderful.

This is for a beach cruiser bike and doesn't work for my mountain bike. I guess I should have realized that beforehand. But it is a great basket that would serve its function well if it fit my bike. Saving it to sell to another student who has a beach cruiser.

The basket is OK, but it didn't have any brackets to attach it to a bike. Also it doesn't fit some bikes and might interfere with brake wires. Overall is a useful product for a price.

Very easy basket to place on the bicylce. It's large enough
but not overly huge. Works perfectly on my no-speed geezer glide.

I purchased this bike basket not realizing it didn't screw on. I thought I would have to somehow mount it when i first go it, but it just hangs from the handlebars. One day with nothing in it, it flew off into the middle of the street as i hit a bump! Normally if i carry stuff in it, it adds weight so it doesn't usually fall off. Another thing, since it just hooks on, anyone can steel it when I lock it - I sorta wish someone would steal it so i can buy a new one (one that needs to be mounted). Its not really level either, AND it covers up my front reflector - so it makes my bike unsafe. I have been looking for a reflector that can be put onto the front of the basket, but I may just invest in a new basket all together. I should have returned it, but now i dropped my bike and there is a dent in it.
