3.0 out of 5 stars Current is NOT adjustable., July 3, 2010
This review is from: Pyramid PS32LAB Adjustable 5 Amp Laboratory Power Supply (Electronics)
0-5A adjustable current is very deceptive. The current setting is only a trip point for an overload condition. You cannot adjust the current as a constant current source situation, as a true lab supply would. It should read: "0-5A adjustable trip point for an overload condition". The supply is well built and works well as such, but be aware that the current setting is not a current limit, but a overload trip point. The supply cannot be used as a constant current source.

3.0 out of 5 stars Heat sink mounted wrong, January 30, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Pyramid PS32LAB Adjustable 5 Amp Laboratory Power Supply (Electronics)
Nice Power Supply for the money.
However: the heat- sink (in the back- behind a slotted cover) is mounted wrong. The fins are oriented horizontally- not vertical as they should be. Even in good old China the technicians should know better....
