5.0 out of 5 stars A well researched book, July 4, 2005
This review is from: Pyramid of Secrets: The Architecture of the Great Pyramid Reconsidered in the Light of Creational Mythology (Paperback)
This is one of the most well researched books, dedicated to the Great Pyramid of Giza, that I have ever read. Alan Alford uses real evidence/ findings and common sense [the one thing that many alternative thinkers do not have] to find the true purpose of the Great Pyramid. There is no water pump or alien landing strip here, just reality and a well educated mind putting it all together. Alford also starts to reinterpret the ancient Egyptian texts, bringing forth the idea that maybe it was a cult of Creation and not just a group of sun worshippers. The only drawback was the fact that I hadto wait for the second part of this book to come out. This is a must read.
