Product Description

Amazon.com Review

This small, programmable device can track four kitchen tasks simultaneously and has a unique signal for each setting. Program the timer as a 12-hour a.m./p.m. or a 24-hour clock and to count up or down. Then put the timer where you need it: stand it on its base or clip it or attach it magnetically to a surface. Comes with a button cell battery and an easy-to-read sheet of instructions for setting the various functions. Clean with a damp cloth. --Julie McCowan

Product Description

Easy to read and functional the timer lets you go about your day without worrying about what time you put the roast in.

4.0 out of 5 stars Changing the time display, April 13, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Pyrex Programmable Timer (Kitchen)
For those of you who lost your instructions to change the time on your Pyrex Timer. I found the solution quite by accident (after my wife and 14 year old couldn't figure it out). Place in CLOCK mode, hold down ENTER button for 5 seconds, display begins flashing. Press HR, MIN and/or SEC to change to appropriate time, press ENTER button to end change mode.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great but..., March 9, 2001

This review is from: Pyrex Programmable Timer (Kitchen)
For aging folks like me, or for younger but farsighted folks: this thing is SMALL. Get out the granny glasses & be careful about the twitchy old fingers, lolol. ... Just as with wireless phones & many many other gadgets, I do wish manufacturers would consider us aging baby-boomers -- quite a significant percent of the population, y'know! -- and offer at least a few larger models of everything, not JUST the continually smaller to impossibly teensy versions. ... In spite of all that, I'm ordering another one of these very handy timers. Had one but accidentally broke it. Wouldn't recommend (nor would the manufacturer recommend, I'm sure) dropping this gadget on a concrete floor then stepping on it... but as I said, it really IS a bit too small.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Time, July 30, 2000

This review is from: Pyrex Programmable Timer (Kitchen)
Okay, so sure most ovens have a timer on them. But that doesn't help when you are trying to time all the other aspects of your dinner, how long to boil the pasta, when the soup will finish simmering, etc. I have had several timers in the past couple of years that have seemed to either break easily, or just won't get the job done. This timer is perfect, it lets you monitor times of four different things all at once, and has unique beeps for each one. The fact that you can either lay it flat, stand it up or stick it to the fridge was a great benefit, maybe my timers won't get knocked of the counter so easily now. At first getting used to the beeps when I had a few things cooking was difficult, but now it's a cinch, and I feel like I am burning a lot less each day. I know my family appreciates that.
