This is becoming one of my favorite pieces. When my mother bought this as a gift for me several years ago I remember thinking that I'd never use it but I hung on to it. Now, having married a great guy with two grown children and 2 wonderful grandchildren I find myself using it several times a year to cart goodies such as lasagna or Thanksgiving stuffing to family dinners. If the family gets much bigger I'll have to order another one! Great buy...

My daughter-in-law gave me this set some years ago for Christmas. It is just the only thing to have for potluck dinners, whether you are bringing a hot casserole or jello salad. We live in a rural area, so the transport time is 45 minutes to an hour anywhere. This will keep your dish hot or cold for that period of time and more. At $18.99 with super saver shipping, this item is a must have.

This item is just the ticket to prepare, pack, protect, and portage that famous dish everyone will be asking the recipe for at your next pot luck dinner. The hot/cold packs keep the contents hot or cold for several hours saving standing in line for the oven/microwave/refridgerator. An excellent value. An exceptional convenience.

Have had my eye on this set for a while, and have been waiting for the price to drop a bit. Finally purchased it a few weeks ago for the can't-refuse price of $14.99, right before Thanksgiving. I've already used it twice and couldn't be happier. Kept my food cold for the better part of a day before (and after) the Thanksgiving meal (no room left in the fridge for more leftovers ;-) I'm looking forward to trying it for hot food, and expect great results as well. I recommend this set highly if you have a use/need.

Was a little surprised that the hot/cold pack freezes completely solid (unlike many others I have) This just means you should be sure to freeze it laying relatively flat in order to get it into the carrier when you need it. Also, be aware that this carrier DOES have nylon handles that let you carry it flat (they don't appear in the image, which had me a little worried before purchase).

This is the second set I have. It is very good, and can keep food warm for a long time.

I was very surprised that only a small piece of bubble wrap accompanied the Pyrex packaging in the Amazon box. The Pyrex box was damaged--smashed in one corner--but the item seemed to be fine. As this was meant to be a gift, I wasn't happy with the condition of the box.

I bought 3 of these since it was such a great price. I've used one as a gift and will probably gift the third eventually. I've used mine several times and couldn't be happier with it. It makes bringing food for potlucks (or keeping food warm or cold at parties) so much easier.

I like the deep cranberry color of the cover and carrier. I had a similiar set like this but it mysteriously disappeared after a family event.

This set is even roomer. It's excellent for transporting desserts and casseroles for pot lucks. Attractive cover and carrier! A must have!

At $14.99 on sale it would make an excellent shower gift for a new bride!

I normally don't buy kitchen products for myself, as I feel I got my share when I got married, but I didn't have anything in this exact shape or glass. It's so nice to bring something to a party with a cover rather than aluminum. I know it seems like a small thing (and really it is), but it does look so much nicer. I haven't had a need yet for the features that keep a dish warm or cold.

The bakeware set is exactly as portrayed. Shipment prompt. I recommend this seller.
