I have not had any problems with this dish and have had it for over 2 yrs now. I am able to use the glass cover on a couple of my stainless steel frying pans which is great too. This casserole dish is the perfect size and I love having a nice lid.

I love these dishes! They are good for mixing, cooking in the stove, microwave, or conventional ovens, freezing, dishwasher safe, and hard to chip and break! My Mom had one of these caserole dishes, and I finally broke it last holiday season, over half a century of use! Buy everything in pyrex that you can, it's definitely worth your money!

Yep it's a great Pyrex casserole dish, exactly as described. Rasy to clean performs perfectly.

I agree with all the people saying Pyrex is NOT the durable stuff we grew up with. I am returning this one because the glass has a dimple on the side where the glass is thinner. I am not risking this in the oven, I am going with stoneware. I don't care if this was made in the USA if it looks this shoddy.

You might say I got a lemon, but I think Pyrex has gone downhill over the years.

I purchased this dish mainly for the lid. I wanted something to use in the microwave to guard against splatters, and was wary of the plastic options due to off-gassing. This is perfect! The little handle is easy to grasp and it's just the right size to cover most plates and bowls. I'll really enjoy the bowl for pot-luck get-togethers as well. It looks attractive and is highly functional.

It came pretty much just as advertised.
The only qualm I have with this product is the lid, it doesn't seem to fit perfectly, kind of just sits on there, but is easily movable.
I guess I was looking for a lid that kind of clicked shut?

Overall- I like it, and have put it to good use.
I put my hong shao meat in it after it's been slow cooked.

I've had a duplicate of this dish for at least 10 years. It is unbelievably convenient. It can go from the microwave to the table. It looks great as a serving piece. It keeps the heat in, it's easy to watch food cooking in it, and is great for steaming vegetables.

If, like me, you like making food with the intention to have some leftovers, this is a must. Works equally well in the oven or the microwave. I've got two of them now, and would be lost without them.

I had a micropot that was plastic and it had cracks in it, so I ordered this one, and it was an ideal size for what I wanted to use it for. I have plenty of the 1 to 1.5 quart sized pots and needed one larger this one did the job.

This covered bowl is ideal for microwaving soups and leftovers for 1 or 2 people. The lid keeps contents from splattering all over the microwave and keeps heat in to reduce actual heating time. It also stays relatively cool to touch and is much better than microwaving in the bowl you're going to eat from.

Graduate up from heating foods in plastic containers or old soup bowls; with proper care, this can last a long time and you'll feel like a grown up. Every kitchen should have one.
