I got it because it price was just awesome. Normally each of them goes for around $10. It is great for more than just baking. You can also use it to serve food since it is a lot nicer looking than the plain metal kinds. Cleaning is also simple, you don't have to worry about scrubbing any anti-stick chemicals off since it is just glass. Also, I like the sizes too, a good set that has about everything you need for basic baking: brownies, cake, a few small cookies, pie, casseroles and etc.

There are not many products that have survived through the test of time. When I order my glassware it was because I knew that I would be getting a "top of the line product" ... my Grandmother did, my Mom did and I will make sure my daughter has the same appreciation so she can pass it on to her daughter.

Pyrex used to be all borosilicate glass. Now the labratory pyrex is still borosilicate but the made for the home pyrex is now soda lime glass and has been for the past 10 years.

The old stuff your grandmother has is the top grade stuff as is the European pyrex.

I am very pleased with my Pyrex purchase. The baking dishes are the reliable,quality product we can always expect from the Pyrex company..

I still have the smaller dish and the pie dish so I gave the product a three. Shortly after I bought the set the large pan cracked in my oven, not only did I loose the pan but my dinner. I am not sure why because I have had other Pyrex products before that were great. I would warn not to cook on temps over 350 and if that was the problem they should put that as a warning on the package.

Purchased these for my daughter. Her kitchen has every gadget, expensive por and skillet. But...she needed and wanted the indispensible pyrex.

Nice set, arrived in good condition. Used them several times with no problem. Appears to be decent price and perfect for my needs.

When purchasing Pyrex products, you can always count on a great value. Love pyrex!

I haven't actually used them yet buy my mom has had her Pyrex set for 30+ years. This set has everything you'd need at a great value.
