I own many pyrex pieces and this is one of many. This is a piece that you will use for many times. I've baked macaroni and cheese to cobbler in the oven, made salads, store vegetables, mashed potatoes to various desserts to store in refrigerator as well as freezing spaghetti sauce in the freezer. You can use it in the microwave as well. Dishwasher safe. I love that it comes with a glass cover. Doesn't hold stains or odors. A beautiful sculpture design that is very attractive. A definite piece to add in any home. I got this as a wedding gift 29 years ago and still looks new. Highly recommend this piece.

Well what can I say about a Pyrex dish? The sculptured design is not fancy, but these dishes are so practical. There are three main reasons why I love Pyrex:

1) Cooks evenly;

2) Easy to clean - even baked on "crud" can come off with a soap pad.

3) Doesn't pick up smells like aluminum pans (my wife used to use those because we hated cleaning pans).

An additional bonus is the rubber/plastic storage cover - very handy for the fridge.

You can't go wrong with this item. Pyrex items are warrantied 100% for a year. My dish developed a chip, which was not related to dropping it. I can still use it, and I was mailed a replacement at no charge.

Everything you could want from a glass dish: nice size, oven-proof and microwaveable, pretty-looking, and with a tight plastic seal that stays in place very well. A keeper!

I am a self-proclaimed Pyrex addict. I love Pyrex! However, if I could only one one Pyrex dish, THIS would be the dish. It comes with a plastic lid so you can tightly seal your food for refrigerator AND freezer storage, as well as a glass lid that you can put in the oven and/or microwave. All 3 pieces are dishwasher safe.

- Have not found one, other than I wish I had a choice in lid colors!

I make every effort to use this and other Pyrex Bakeware for cooking and storage. There seems to be no downside. Great for any casserole. I wash it in the dishwasher, keeping the plastic lid on the top rack.

I enjoy having a few pieces from this line and have been using them for almost a year with no problems to mention except for maybe that they don't prepare meals for me....

Great for microwave with turntable - IT'S ROUND! And it has handles for ease in removing without spilling or burning yourself trying to juggle potholders around the sides! The plastic lid really comes in handy for the fridge. Just a great product.

After a visiting friend dropped and broke the lid of my favorite casserole dish (handed down from Mom),I decided to go shopping for a replacement. I have not looked for casserole dishes in many years so I went to the net to sort out the hype. At first I tried to find a used dish just like the one my Mom had given me but to no avail. Seems no one gives up those old dishes that have produced so many wonderful family favorite meals. I saw an add for a Pyrex Casserole dish and remembered that I have several Pyrex dishes and some of them have been handed down through the family. The bottom line is this. Pyrex has been making glass cookware for a long time. It has proven itself in many kitchens for many years. I purchased 2 of the Pyrex Sculptured 2-quart Casserole dishes. I was impressed with the sculpturing of the glass, a very nice touch. The plastic lid is an added bonus making it more versatile. The glass top fits well. The dish is user friendly and not easily broken. Money well spent.
