Pyrex Prepware 4-Cup Measuring Cup, Clear with Blue Measurements

The description and picture indicate that the 4 cup measuring cup has blue lettering on it. We received it with red lettering. We contacted Amazon and was quickly shipped a replacement measuring cup...with red lettering again. If you are specifically looking for one with blue lettering this is not it.

I've used this to measure my milk then add the instant pudding and mix it directly in the measuring cup with the beater. I used it as a small mixing bowl. It's a great size. I like the handle 'cuz any size hand can hold this. If you are looking to measure in 1/4 cup increments, you need to get a smaller measuring cup like the 2 cup size. The purpose of this big size is for measuring in large quantiies. As for the quality of this product.......It's a pyrex. They last forever.

I love the 4 cup measuring cup. I found this product is ususally not carried in the dept. stores, unlike the 1 cup and the 8 cup, they were everywhere! I do alot of baking and I use it everytime.

It seems that Pyrex is just like everything else in the world today, same name but different quality. Seems to be alittle thinner and have some air pockets so quality control is not as strict as in years past. For some reason it is not as resilient as the old one I had.

this is one of the most versatile pieces of cookware on the market. Great for people with small kitchens and not a lot of time to squeeze more into less space. Measure, microwave, store, and even use as a display if you wish!
Its a perfect gift for the new house, be it for a bride, a single person or a whole family.

Although I love the fact that this measuring cup allows me to fill once and pour, I do not like that the spout is made in such a way where the water spills over the side of the measuring cup and ends up on the counter. My 1-cup measuring cup is from Pyrex as well, and I figure that I wouldn't have any problems with the larger measuring cup.

Bottom line, as a measuring cup, it works and is more convenient than using my 1-cup measure, but the spout could be made better so that it doesn't spill.

We bought four of these measuring cups and are really disappointed that all four had chips or cracks. In the past, we have always loved Pyrex cups, but the ones we bought from Amazon all have defects: a crack in the middle or small, dark chips at the base. So we can use them, but cannot give them as gifts.

I love my 4 cup glass measuring cup. I use in the microwave all the time. It's perfect to measure out your ingredients in and then just pop in the microwave and cook. One bowl cooking and measuring. This is the way I cook my instant potatoes when I make them.

The glass is really thick and heavy duty. Nice quality.

This product is great for kitchen. Easy to Measured and Big letter display so easy to read. Safe for Microwave.
Name brand with reasonable price on amazon best thing is quick delivery. Highly recommended.

The 5-stars is for the product, the typically wonderful pyrex that allows for oven/microwave heating and easy cleanup. In this case, I'm also enjoying the lower profile design of this 4-cup (the one I already had is taller, more pitcher-like).

I ordered this to complete a 3-piece (1-cup, 2-cup, 8-cup) value package I found on Amazon that is an outstanding value. (And, in addition, I have a 2-cup and 4-cup measure because I use them so much.)

Each of the sizes has its own function in my kitchen, the smaller more for measuring, the larger for food preparation and actual cooking of foods in microwave. They work well for storing the food as well, but then they're not available for the next measuring/mixing/cooking project!
