5.0 out of 5 stars FireWire + Phonic Helix24FW MkII 24-Channel Mixer, August 23, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Pyro Basicdv Ieee1394for Mac/pc-software & Dv Cable (Personal Computers)
Bought a Phonic mixer with F/W. Loved its sound. Wanted to do streaming audio into computer. Built-in F/W on a very fast computer was just not fast enough. Ordered card through Amazon. Installed with no problems and immediately recognized the mixer. Did streaming audio 10 days straight, about 6 hours a day in 8 channels using Krystal and Reaper (at the same time - different channels too)! Fantastic little card - solved a HUGE problem. Of course, this card is the one Phonic recommends in the first place.

3.0 out of 5 stars Shipped wrong item, April 4, 2006
I ordered a an API-310 but received an API-311 which has no software. I should have returned the item for credit but dithered for 40 days.
