Pythagoras: The Immortal Sage (1958),
By Dr. Greg (CA, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pythagoras: The Immortal Sage (Paperback)
This book is an account of his life and scientific teachings of human regeneration and of his school and community at Crotona. Includes as well his nutritional, eugenic and sociological doctrines. Dr. Bernard (Ph.D. Columbia University) does an excellent job handling the research background and presents the ideas of Pythagoras in a novel and interesting manner. The readability of the text is cited as 18.0, which is graduate level (average reading ability 10.3). Don't let that fact scare you off. True scholarship is weighty, and this text is no exception. There's plenty to learn from your experience with this book. An inner cleansing awaits! You can also order this book online through Health Research Books.
