Aaaaaah. Unless you have allergies to smoke, you won't have an issue with this incense. This is easily one of the smoothest I've ever had the oppoptunity to smell--I can pick up the 50% Hinoki (cypress), but it is such a subtle, balanced cypress!!! Almost honey-like, editing out anything too sharp...a fine herbal blend to balance the cypress. This is a relaxing incense I'd recommend for any appropriate (relaxing, focusing) time...activity...or none...

Not as sharp as Baieido's "Hinoki Cypress" or even Nippon Kodo's "Ka-fuh Hinoki", the sticks are wider (3mm from the side) and longer (8") than either Japanese stick. The blending on this incence is superb! The sturdy, beautiful decorative paper box I purchased contained 34 sticks. Each pure extruded stick leaves ash residue about 1/2 the size of the stick...all that lovely scent in the air! This is very hard to compare to anything else...a hint of sweet but not too, profound, no bitterness. Well balanced and recommended!

I saw this featured in the blog Olfactory Rescue Service and had to try it. Normally I don't like evergreen-based incense, but this one has won me over. The hinoki (Japanese cypress) blends well with the other resins and spices and the effect is fantastic. Very refreshing, a completely unique incense. Terrific value.

This Incense is good. because. It burns well. Has a nice smell.
It is Natural. And the cost is low.
