Great for Modelers,
By
This review is from: PzKpfw III in Action - Armor No. 24 (Paperback)
Another great addition to the "In Action" series, this book has excellent photos, line drawings and a lot of information of the development and use of the Panzer III and all of the varients.I especially like the line drawings that show what makes each varient different from the previous one. The photos are crisp, clear and have detailed captions that point out items of interest. There are color drawings for modelers to reference when using different paint schemes and fronts. Are there larger or newer books out there? Yes, but this is an excellent value for its size. It supplements those other books very nicely. Definately recommended.

This review is from: PzKpfw III in Action - Armor No. 24 (Paperback)
These books are getting a little old now, most were published in the late 70's early 80's. Still they are good books. Some useful photos many I had not seen before. It details all Ausf of the PzIII, from the A to N, plus a history of the pre production. These would be a great choice for the first timer to the field of German Armour, not too deep with the info but enough to get the idea, not filled with hundreds of photos and a good price. Recommended for the first timer.
