Product Description

Q-Bert is a game that has been forgotten about. It's been many years since there had been a game with it or even a new one. There was actually an NES port of the game. It's a game that is a bit different but there weren't a lot of Q-Bert games that might be known. Then again, this is just another one and could very well be known more than perhaps once thought. This was also on the Atari 2600 but the version that is going to be looked at the most will be the NES version.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice shades!!!, April 28, 2011

This review is from: Q Bert (Video Game)

One thing I enjoy about this game is the fact that you can reconfigure the controls of game play. I enjoy the graphics and amount of detail the characters are given. The only other system I have played this game on was an Atari VCS/2600. I could not believe the difference. You can tell where one block stops and one ends. Q*Bert is maneuverable and responds pretty well. The game seems to have added levels that I assume could not have been added to the Atari version from lack of memory. Many levels, lack of violence, great graphics, and good sound make this a must have for the NES. I believe when you hit pause, it sounds just like Super Mario Brothers I for the NES which then makes me want to pop that cartridge in. Thanks...
