5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely Pleased
These lights are performing way better than I expected- both in brightness and duration. With a good day's sun, and an 8pm dusk when they automatically come on, they're still running at dawn!
The description mentions requiring a battery, not included; however this is wrong- it is included, and is the 600mAh accumulator battery that stores the charge. And being a...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not much better than their String Counterparts
I these lights last no longer than 3 hours. They have been up for 4 days and I am not getting better results as the batteries have days to charge in the sun. The do however last a whooping 1 hours longer than their string version cousin who crap out on me after only 2 hours. I am completely disappointed with them and recommended anyone consider buying these to save your...

The description mentions requiring a battery, not included; however this is wrong- it is included, and is the 600mAh accumulator battery that stores the charge. And being a standard NiCd pencell, would easily be replaced once its charge cycles were exhausted.

I wanted these for camping i should have bought 4 sets! these are amazing! where we camp at its extremely dark and these light will light up the table quite fine. i was surprised i thought i would have had to wait 6 hours to get a good charge from these, but after three hours they works bright as could be also they come with a rechargeable battery but if you have no sun you can put a regular AA battery in there it works the same

1.0 out of 5 stars Not impressed, December 8, 2009

I bought three sets. One never worked at all. They don't stay on more than a couple hours after dark. What I disliked the most was that the lights look blue, not white. I'll stick with my standard electric net lights...they look MUCH better.

3.0 out of 5 stars Christmas lights, January 26, 2009

These solar Christmas lights worked better than we expected. In northern California they did get some sunlight and whether the lights lit up at all, and for how long definitely depended on how much sun we had had that day. We will probably get more next year to make the decorations more extensive.

1.0 out of 5 stars Way Smaller Than You Think, December 19, 2010

The description says that it stretches to 45 x 36". In reality, it looks like it is covering maybe 24 x 24. It is a sad little light patch -- my trees are about 5 ft tall, not very wide (the tall skinny kind of evergreen), and it looks like I would need about 4 of these to cover just the front.

The lights work just fine -- just expected that for $23/each, the coverage would have been a bit bigger.

Pleasantly surprised! I was skeptical at first but these do just what they say. They are not bright white but a nice blue, they are a net - not strands and easy to install on bushes - place the solar collector stake where it can grab the sun w/o shading and they twinkle all night! PS - Buy more than you think you will need.

These lights really work. I have put them on a hedge and it adds a soft twinkle to the backyard. Best thing is they do not run up my elelctric bill.

1.0 out of 5 stars EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING, December 7, 2009
By

This review is from: Solar Net Lights (Kitchen)
I purchased several sets of these solar lights in December 2009 to supplement our Christmas display in front of the house. With a full day of sun (day time temps high 30's / low 40's; night time temp mid/low 20's) the lights only illuminated for around 2 1/2 hours. It was nice while it lasted but my expectation was at least 6 hours at a minimum. I was intrigued by the rave reviews posted here by previous buyers but maybe they were friends and relatives of the company that makes the product!
