Large Q Snap Frame,

This frame is very versatile. Mine came with the adjustable legs (4) of them so I was able to tilt the frame from any direction. It has easy assembly and easy to tear down. I've used it now for over 3 years and the tubes still hold my quilt top tight. Very easy to use.

Handy to Use - Easy to Assemble - Holds up over time,

This review is from: Q-Snap Floor Frame
I am a beginning quilter and have been working together with others to learn the process.
Recently, I spent two afternoons with a friend hand-tying a baby quilt. I was amazed when she pulled out this little device - put it together, and showed me how to put the quilt into the frame. Now, you have to realize - she's 95 years old and has been using hers for MANY years. But, she assembled (and disassembled) this all by herself - it is so light and handy. I do not know how old the frame we used was, but it had held up for more than 40 quilts that she did for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There were several things I discovered as we worked together on tying the quilt. 1) Over time, the plastic snaps had developed cracks. This made it harder to hold the project we were working on securely. As I mentioned, she couldn't remember how old it was, just that she had made all of her quilts using it ... and trust me, she'd been quilting a long time! 2) We used a very "thin" cotton batting. If you are using a thicker batting, you will want to test out one of these to be sure that it will hold your project securely. 3) This is a great size! You can reach all areas of the quilt from the top and the bottom as you work from either side! 4) Because of the snap fittings, the very outermost edges of the quilt never end up in the where you can work on them. In our case, we weren't tying in the area, but if you need to reach all the way to the binding, this could be a problem. 5) Yes, you can sit in a chair while you work on this! Just pull it right up. Lots of pluses, a few tiny problems, for the price, it's a very handy light-weight tool. Edited: After reviewing my choices, I ended up purchasing (for my own long-term use) a Dritz Quilters Floor Frame - similar to this one (the one my friend had that I practised on), but allowing me to adjust both the angle and the height. This one does not permit that. Q-Snap Floor Frame Tilts are available that will permit this one to tilt, but do not allow for height adjustment.

I heard from several sites that this was the best quilt frame around. I found it on amazon.com at a reduced price. I love the quilt frame-I was making a king size quilt and it was difficult. This frame made it so easy and the delivery was quick and efficient.
