This is the original Q-tip. Its stem is made out of rolled paper, it is pretty stiff (not bendy
like plastic Q-tips) and it does not splinter (like wooden stem Q-tips). It has a good
amount of 100% cotton on its tip. Some Q-tips are not as tightly woven around the
end as others, but I usually just twirl it between my finger tips to get a tighter tip
if needed.
I use it for applying ointment to my dry nose, and even though you are not supposed to
occasionally for clearing the ears for ear wax. They also work well for clearing
out fabric dust from the inside of the sewing machine. I've also used it on the inside
of electronic and computer equipment, when nothing else is small enough to reach the dust.
This packaging is a cost effective solution and will last a long time!

With the Subscibe and Save, it's so much cheaper buying this on Amazon than at the stores.
I've always like the Q-tips Swab brand, always soft and easy to use. I know there are cheaper brands out there, but I like the quality of this brand. As long as it's available at Amazon for a better price, I'll continue to buy it here.

Nobody knows how to build a Q-tip like the Q-tip people. Perfection begins with the 100% (I think) rolled paper wand and concludes with the two delicately and perfectly balanced swabs on the ends. This, is the pinnacle of cotton swab engineering. These things can be used on any project from ears to chainsaws and their performance is the stuff of legend.
Don't buy that cheapo knockoff brand that gives you a super flexible, plastic wand and just enough fiber on the ends to legally call it a "swab". You need a 100% (I think) rolled paper wand that lets you get some muscle behind whatever it is you're scooping up with those voluptuous pure cotton Q-tip tips. From crusted ear wax to bar oil laden log dust on your Stihl, you only want to deal with Q-tip brand cotton swabs when it really matters.
Do it right or go hit the dollar store and hope for the best. Your choice people. Make yourself proud.

From makeup application to ear cleaning the q-tip brand cotton swab is light years ahead of any competition. Made of sturdy cardboard construction with generous cotton on the ends this is the best product. There is no bending or breaking because the swab is so strong. The cotton tips are made for comfort as well. All in all an outstanding product.

These are same Qtips that you would buy in a store, and these are a great price. Just be prepared to hoard 2 extra boxes of Qtips in your closet for a few months. This is probably a 1 year supply.

I'm not all that brand loyal about a lot of products, but Qtip brand swabs are a must. It's the only reliably sturdy brand I've ever found. Both the stick and the cotton part never unravel. I HATE using cheapy swabs in hotels only to have the cotton stretch out in my ears or the sticks bend as I'm trying to use them. These are well made, and the three pack is a handy quantity that lets me store a few extra under the vanity for back up.

From what I've found the Q-Tip brand does seem to have more cotton and the shafts are noticeably stronger than others. Was a little cheaper for me to purchase them here rather than waste gas and drive to the local wally world.
