Works well, keeps the heat with no problem.

Again, it is cold weather, i.e.,30s to 40s here, but it would be nice for the 30 minutes that I am in the tub that the temp remained at 104.

Since I'm really the only one who uses it except for the occasional visitor, I don't have to clean very often...about twice a year.

I have used the hot tub for four days so this review is my first impression and obviously subject to change. It is really a shame that several changes/improvements that many other reviewers at other sites have mentioned have not been made to the hot tub. These small but frustrating changes like telling the user where the power cord is located, how to open the access panel and then having a slot/hole for the cord to go outside would cost QCA almost nothing but make the world of difference to the setup of the tub. Also, the size of the access door is to large and is very difficult to remove, especially when the tub is full of water. Granted, users don't have to go into the workings of the tub very often but when we do it should be easy. My second visit behind the access door was to install a QCA Spa/Del Ozone Generator. QCA did have the vacuum tubing labeled, and a plugin for the generator but no place to "install it" so mine is, very unprofessionally, hanging from one of the pipes.

Another improvement that has been mentioned by many users online is that the temp indicator is very, very difficult to read during the day. It is facing the outside of the hot tub so one has to read upside down when in the tub. I have several weather/temperature indicators in my house along with several digital clocks all costing, well, very little. So why couldn't QCA use one of these as a model as far as size and readability in the daytime?

Heater. Based on many other reviewer's comments about the slow heating ability of the hot tub heater, I purchased a "Farm Innovators Submergible Bucket Heater with Attached Guard Model W-449, 1,000-Watt" heater and along with the hot tub heater, I had 100 degree water within 15 hours.

I purchased this spa in September of 2011, so I've had a few years to review. As you can see by my rating, I love it! Yes, the delivery was hairy: my driver was nice enough to get it into the backyard for me, and I wrangled a couple of neighbor boys to help me get it off the pallet. That said, it has worked (for me) flawlessly since day one. Since I'm really the only one who uses it except for the occasional visitor, I don't have to clean very often...about twice a year. But it runs well, and I run it all through the Upstate New York winters, with only a $20 or so increase in electrical cost. (I also switched over to all LED lighting, so that could have lowered the bill) I have a heavy duty cover with clip downs, so the winds don't take it away and the water stays more insulated. If you live in a colder climate, I would recommend this cover over the lightweight cover that comes with the spa. I don't use conventional spa chemicals, I use SpaSilver (colloidal silver) so the water never smells funny, and the silver does not evaporate out. Also, I check the particle content with a meter to make sure the water is still good...never goes above the content of our drinking water (around 240-250). Really the only caveat I have is that when the power goes off and I have to reset the temp, you kind of have to hunt around to hit the right part of the control panel...usually I end up going way down and then magically, I hit the right spot and the temp goes up...not enough of a problem to me to affect my rating. It takes me about 2 hours to empty it, clean it and refill. I refill with a hose that attaches to the water spigot in my laundry room and run it through the house and out to the patio...this way I can run hot water and don't have to wait too long for the water to heat up to the 104 degrees that I keep it at. LOVE MY SPA...what else can I say??

I had purchased a hot tub spa from QCA several years and always had good service. That is not the case now because customer service has gone down the drain. I needed a replacement blower motor and called past week. Got answering machine which said someone would return call. No return call so a week later called again and got some switchboard operator. She transferred me to a salesperson but No answer. The call went back to switchboard and I gave her the information on blower motor and she said that she would see salesperson got information and would return my call. Again No return call. So this time I E-mailed them asking what it takes to get someone to help me on replacement blower motor. Got E-mail back saying to e-mail parts and they could take care of me. Yea finally Opps wrong still waiting days later for a response. My guts says this is a company that has lost focus.

Works well. Shipping company not so great. Be sure to ask about help getting it at least off of the street. Was not an option to pay for extra help, but don't consider that the driver cares if you did not pay extra. Also, check for damage before he leaps in the truck and flees!
