I bought these for my gutters many years ago for the simple reason that it was the only type of strainer in the store and I didn't want to drive around looking for others. I have been very pleased with them. Being plastic, the don't rust out as my previous ones did. I have a seasonal house so I clean the gutters out in the fall and various other times during the spring and summer. Yes, the bottom part of them can clog, so the last half inch or so of water in the gutter may not go down but the advantage to these strainers is that when there is a heavy rain, the crud washes up and over the wedge and accumulates behind it. You do need to have space behind the downspout for that to work. When I clean out the gutters after being away for 6 months, I find quite a bit of crud behind the wedges and some crud at the bottom but most of the wedge is clear and doing its job.

We bought a vacation home last February and the gutters had these filters in them. This house is under spruce trees and when I cleaned the gutters this fall, they were full of needles, but still draining. Also we're subjected to some pretty high winds, and they weren't blown away. I decided to get some for our permanent house. I expect them to work as well as the existing ones in our vacation home.

The plastic is a bit thinner than I expected, as it appears in the provided amazon picture. However, It does exactly what I wanted and needed it to do. It does not fit my downspout like it should, but that is no fault of the product, it's a result of my older guttering.

I found it easy to assemble and it installed very easy even with cross supports for the gutter near the downspout.

I really like the idea of these and have seen a similar design applied to municipal storm drains for years. Unfortunately they didn't work for me. They are reasonably well constructed, assembly was fine and are easy to install. However, it seems that the concept will only work if you have water moving at a fairly high speed. In my gutters, which I think are typical, the water doesn't generate enough force to push the leaves up and over the wedge so it just clogs up near the bottom. The 2nd storm after installing these resulted in overflowing gutters.

Quality-wise I found the product acceptable. A big HOWEVER, though, and hopefully Amazon will put this on their site. There are different prices for what appears to be the exact same thing, differing only by provider, or maybe even the same provider. One might offer one for $XYZ (implying better quality) and another two for less. They all looked the same. I only wanted two, but ended up paying for 6. And then they were too wide for my gutter. There was no width dimension provided for the "wedge" part. I just threw them away, rather than hassle with the issue. Right now my tile roof, at huge expense, is being repaired. Gutters twice as wide were added. Having seen these already I would re-buy them, but felt gypped the first time so probably won't.
