"Chinese stainless steel",

This review is from: Mako Dive Knife (Misc.)
I bought two of these knives. Obviously a replica of a knife that I used for many years. I like it because it is small and very practical. For the price your really just buying the holster which is worth it. Now you only have to find a knife that does not rust before the day is over. The stainless steel is of very poor quality, more like a very thin stainless steel coat. I do not know how much wax would do the trick.
P.S. Buy yourself a bucket of wax to store it.

Great Knife,

This knife is well worth the cash. The only thing I did to it when I got it was wax it with candle wax to prevent rust (which I recommend doing to any dive knife). It holds an edge fairly well and has a very pointy tip for braining fish. A good buy.
