5.0 out of 5 stars Great Primer!, October 7, 2011
I obtained and read this book back in its early printing of 1996. Kate Rheeders has taken a very profound subject matter and condensed it into a manageable guide book that will assist any beginning student of kabbalah through their first years of search and discovery. Kate's manner of writing is at times gentle, caring, very clear as to the explanation of spiritual concepts, and her illustrations/diagrams are very helpful. You won't get lost in the technical jargon of the subject. What is the most rewarding part of this is how she interelates it all with the chakras, the crystals, the etheric and physical bodies which are all material and energetic aspects of our world. The book is worth its price just for its references which include information on the angels and archangels. In all, I believe that the author did a great job in simplifying for practical use the complex theories of kabbalah. This book is a must for the anyone wanting to know more about this beautiful practice.
