Book Description

November 2000
The book effectively presents the teachings of an accomplished and knowledgeable mystic, now retired from the world. He transmitted information and meditation methods in private meetings during the 1970s and 1980s. He anonymously published a number of the first English translations of primary qabalistic texts, and distributed tens of thousands of copies through the Work of the Chariot Trust.

This book is the first time that a senior student of the Work of the Chariot has compiled much of the teachings from those meetings on the core principles and practices of the Mystical Qabalah.

Editorial Reviews

From the Author

The teachings in this book were transmitted in private meetings in the 1970's and '80's by the Work of the Chariot Trust. They are notable for their clarity, depth, and extensive interfaith considerations. I am the first senior student of this group to record its teachings.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant! A must-read book!, October 25, 2001
By
This review is from: Qabalah : The Mystical Heritage of the Children of Abraham (Paperback)
In his new book, Qabalah, Daniel Feldman has made available for the first time a comprehensive record of the closed-door teachings of the Work of the Chariot Trust. In this landmark volume, Mr. Feldman initially examines all the mystical branches that emanated from Abraham and his children, and pursues some fundamental, if not controversial, questions. How was the religion of the ancient Hebrews different from Rabbinical Judaism? How are the Mystical Qabalah, Mystical Christianity, and Sufism related? How is the Mystical Qabalah different from the Religious and Magical Qabalah? Is it possible that the children of Abraham's concubines founded the Tanric tradition of northern India?

Qabalah answers these questions, and delineates many other connections between the Mystical Qabalah and all of the world's primary mystical traditions. Indeed, Mr. Feldman has produced and illustrated a totally comprehensive and comparative study of the Mystical Qabalah unlike anything this reviewer has ever seen. Dozens of the qabalistic diagrams in this book are not to be found in any other book on the subject. The treatment of the Tree of Life is unparalleled! Mr. Feldman gives the reader a thorough foundation on qabalistic meditation practices and then provides clear instructions on how to perform these practices in a manner that anyone can follow.

There are dozens of books on the Qabalah. Many of them leave you even more confused after you read them, and provide little information on what practices to engage in. So, if you've been searching for a single book that gives you the complete and genuine teachings of the Mystical Qabalah, plus meditation practices that you can understand and apply right away, look no further. Qabalah is the book you have been waiting for!

5.0 out of 5 stars Making it clear, spiritual and enjoyable, September 23, 2003
By
This review is from: Qabalah : The Mystical Heritage of the Children of Abraham (Paperback)
I have been on a spiritual path for nearly 30 years and have never found a book as clear, spiritually enriching and enjoyable. Also, it did a fantastic job at defining what needed to be defined and providing references to other resources where needed as well.

I have come back to spirituality with an open mind and the intuition that all great spiritual paths can ultimately be resolved to the ONE and this book drove it home for me. I can't recommend it enough. Also, be sure to visit the web site of the organization that helped to make this book come to life, as well as other truly spiritual sites like the Kabbalah Centre, and The Inner Dimension. We are truly blessed to have such resources at our finger tips in this day and age. Take care and peace to you all, Michael Hunt
