I was pleasantly surprised to find that the title Complete Residents Guide is exactly what you get. This is not a book for the casual visitor but for those planning on living in Qatar for some time. Excellent resources, more than I have been able to digest at the moment. I think it will become indispensable once we arrive. If you are planning on moving to Qatar this is the book for you.

2 enthusiastic thumbs up for this very thorough guide. Yes, it lacks the brutual honesty that a Lonely Planet guidebook might (very little, for example, is said about Doha's wannabe F1 drivers or the incessant sand dust), but it does give a very comprehensive guide for the resident.
