Qux was a retro, weird, and fun game that was uniquely challenging and could be very frustrating at times as you tried to decrease the size of the field that the Qix would move (think of today's JezzBall) If the Qix touched your line before you could form a solid field, you would lose a life. I played JezzBall long before I tried this game, and I could not help but be reminded of it. Overall a great game, if you liked the challenge of JezzBall, this game is definitely more challenging.

this game is really cool to play and is different every time..the game-play
itself is very easy to figure out.
at first my nes was acting up due to the game but i re-cleaned it..and it finally worked to my nes's liking.

Great classic NES game!

This is a puzzler style game where you try to fill in areas of the screen without getting touched by the bouncing "viruses." While you are in the process of drawing a new line to fill in an area, your lines are vulnerable to the viruses' touch. Once you complete a square and fill in an area, you are safe. Once you fill a certain percentage of area, you advance to the next level where there are more viruses, the viruses move faster, or more area must be covered to complete the level.

Overall, this is a memorable game for the NES. It has nice graphics and sound effects for a NES puzzler though the concept can grow old and there are not too many game options. It is a great purchase for the true NES gamer!
