Just received this bowl yesterday, and my first impressions are: 1) it's big, and that's just what I need for large salads; and 2) it's pretty flimsy. The stainless steel is thinner than other SS mixing bowls I have, and is going to dent easily. It even arrived with a couple of small dents - I can't imagine how you would handle it without denting it, it's that thin. Anyway, I didn't buy it to look nice, so I suppose it will work fine for it's intended purpose.

This bowl is so big, you can mix just about any home recipe in it. I used it for mixing cookies and salads. It cleans up quickly and looks great.

I make huge batches of homemade dog food for my dog who has digestive system issues, and this bowl is exactly what I need to mix together enormous amounts of mashed vegetables, rice, and diced cooked chicken. BUT, it arrived in a big box that looked like someone had sat on it and then drop-kicked it across the room for good measure. The box was far too large for the mixing bowl, and there was hardly any packing material. The mixing bowl is very light and thin, and there was a large dent in it due to the abused shipping box and lack of packing material. Fortunately, I was able to push the dent out so that it is hardly noticeable, and the mixing bowl is quite usable despite the minor dent that remains. Be aware that the inside of the bowl scratches easily, so it no longer looks pristine. But I don't care how it looks: it does its job admirably, and I am happy with it.

Was looking for a large stainless bowl with some weight to it. What I found in Walmart and the like was thin and poorly made. Took a chance on this one and am glad I did. Just made dough for 4 loaves of bread with no problem.
