I am very happy with these tray tables.
Maura
The "laminated" top consists of extremely thin Masonite with wood grain printed on the top.
Lin
Sturdy (I wouldn't lean on it) and light weight (easy to move).

Exactly what I was looking for, at the time, a low volume purchase, versus having to buy greater than a certain amount, which might have been more than your average consumer could use for a single family. Just like the ones I'd had years before and liked so well. Good quality that should give me years of service and the price was right. I was glad to find them on Amazon, as I was having problems finding them elsewhere. I had almost given up looking for trays that have a raised edge all around which, from personal experience, makes it nice in case the items being cared decide to slide around. Just that little bit of extra security gives a person more piece of mind. Most other, more expensive, trays don't come with that feature. They do have a slick top surface, which tends to allow movement, so the edge helps. I would like to see trays with at least some degree of a non-skid top surface preparation, but it seems, by mine findings, that they are unavailable. I would say these are the next best thing. One last thing, it might have been nice if a matching storage rack, of some kind, were offered for them,(at additional cost), for the majority of the times when the trays are not in use.

I was looking for these specific trays because I've had a similar set for many years (like 30 or so), and they were finally in great need of replacement - for cosmetic reasons. My husband & I use TV trays for every meal - no, I'm not hanging my head in shame - and I wanted some just like the old ones. I really like having the rim on the edges, and although they're sturdy enough, they're light weight. I've used beautiful but heavy wooden trays in our daughter's home - wouldn't use them in mine. These aren't as pretty as the wooden ones, but they're much more user friendly.

I like these tables beacuse they are easy to clean. Most tables are real wood and wood stains real easy. Hard to keep clean.

These tables are kind of cheaply made but they get the job done. I did not pay much for them so you can't expect a super high quality table. I would buy more of these tables.

You get 2 tables in the box.

The main thing I like about these tables is they don't have that cross bar at the bottom of the legs like allot of the tables have now days. I want to be able to stretch my legs underneath the table so these tables allow you to stretch your legs. Its almost impossible to find these tables with out that cross piece at the bottom of the leg. I'm glad I found these. The table is nice in sturdy .

They don't tell you the height of the table . The table is 24 inches from the floor to the top of the table. The table top is 21 inches wide by 15 inches depth.

I would buy more of these tables. I have spiled honey, ketchup, pop, etc on the table and it cleans up real easy. It also has a raised edge around the table so fluids will not spill off the side of the table.

This pair of TV trays is exactly what I was looking for. However, there is about a one inch gap between the width of the inner and outer legs. This causes two problems. The legs do not fit into the holding clips properly because the bends get in the way. The rivet holding the legs is not tight making for a very loose joint. If you are replacing an old set of trays, keep the old legs and throw the new ones away as I did.

These tables are not the all-metal old-fashioned kind. The oak laminated tops are thin particle board, with small rivets showing on the upper surface. They are sturdy enough to use for dishes, when you want to eat in front of the TV, but I would not put anything heavy like a laptop on them. You could probably use them as extra tables for lightweight crafts work, since the raised edges will prevent anything from rolling off. Space underneath is 22 1/2 inches. The tables are pretty well made, not wobbly, and easy to fold down for storage.

My wife and I have tried to find tray tables like these for yrs! The tables are great, light but sturdy and the small lip on the table top heps keep spills off the floor. These trays are just like the ones my mother had and much handier than the wood clunkers sold elsewhere! Thanks Amazon for selling these trays

I received the two trays and they are really nice, only problem is one tray is missing a plastic leg cover so the floors don't get scratched. Attempted to contact seller and have had no luck in them sending me a plastic cover. Not so sure I would purchase the other 2 trays I wanted for fear if there is something wrong, you have no way of getting the problem taken care of. So now I have one tray that wobbles!

These are light weight TV trays, but they are nice just the same. It's hard to find any heavy-duty trays that have a lip around the edge. These were "as advertised". One was slightly damaged in transit, but they are sending a replacement. I would recommend these unless you're looking for something "heavy."
