This tool is a great addition to your favorite extension ladder. I have used ladder stabilizer/ stand-offs for years primarily to facilitate painting windows or to avoid crushing aluminum gutters. This is a great enhancement to this line of ladder accessories. It is especially useful when you are screwing sections of downspout together or working on corner boards. It allows you to place yourself right on the corner so you have very good control.

The tool also works nicely on flat walls or even curved wall surfaces. If you work around corners frequently, this is a great little accessory.

Does not provide a good clearance of the corner area. If there is a downspout on the cornerboard then it does not clear this.

The Corner Buddy has worked well for me. It allows me to replace corner trim easily. Despite what others have said it does reach over gutter downspouts that are attached to corner trim.

I appreciate the unit's light weight due to its aluminum construction I just wish the paint didn't peel so easily off the metal. This is just a cosmetic issue though.

I also wish it would attach and remove from the ladder easier. The four wing nut fastened u-bolts are a bit primitive. A spring loaded clamping mechanism like the Werner ladder stabilizer would be slick.

This product is great! It is exceptionally stable, once you get it in place with equal amounts of the stabilizer on both sides of the corner. And the hold out, the distance from the corner to the ladder, is excellent. It might look a little too large on the ground, but once it is around a corner, it is great. I never leave home without it.

Great product, a bit expensive considering what the manufacturer spent making it, but it works real nice. Just be aware that you need to keep your ladder base close to the wall you are scaling. Also, I trimmed the U-bolt ends to prevent them from scratching the paint off my down-spout. I don't know how long the rubber bumpers will last and once they go obtaining new ones might be hard. I would suggest keeping them away from ultra-violet light and extreme temperatures during storage to extend their life.

This is just what I needed to get to the gutters without damaging the gutters. It's also very sturdy and keeps you safer.

Works great on corners. Can be used on straight walls also. Stand off is 22 inches so you can paint roof facia boards without having to lean back. Needs a powdercoat so paint doesn't peel off. Rubber stops could be better. Overall, good product.

If there is a need for something someone will make it, and indeed this is true in this case. I needed a way to work on the corners of my house to replace some rotted trim; a way of placing the ladder on the corners would solve the problem. I stumbled across the Corner Buddy on the Qualcraft web site and then surfed the web and found the best price on the stabilizer on Amazon. I had hired a contractor to do the work and he had not seen the Corner Buddy before. After using it in a couple locations at my home he was impressed and said he would have to get his own. It worked great on both corners and flat surfaces and you can't beat the price especially with free super saver shipping.

I work on the upper level of my house often. The corner buddy will allow me to access windows on flat walls and work on corners without sliding. Very useful accessory.

Corner stabilizer for siding and gutter work. Could not find in Home Depot, Lowes, or Ace Hardware. If ordered thru store the cost was much higher than online w/ Amazon (Best online price). Came w/ free shipping (even better). Delivered extremely fast (within two days). Exactly what I needed to install corners for vinyl siding on 2nd floor. Should work great for gutters and around bay windows.
