The Qual-Craft Pee-Vee provides pushing and pulling power to move sill plate on new construction walls and assures proper alignment. It is also more precise than hammering. The Pee Vee's are available in two sizes to match jobsite requirements for sill plate adjustments. Based on the principle of a woodman's Pee-Vee this handy tool provides additional leverage to get the job done. The Model # 2610 is the larger of the Pee Vee's and is referred to as the "Big PEE VEE"

This Pee-Vee is a very helpful tool for aligning the bottom plates of walls when framing. The Qual Craft version is very well made of high quality material - it will probably last forever under normal use.

This is a great concept but built to light duty for profesional use. I broke the end off the handle in no time. I then bought the Trogan pv30, much heavier duty and better suited for pro's.

Well I was under the impression that this tool was used for moving logs, as it was with all the log handling equipment when I bought it, and also due to it's name. A Peavy is used to move logs, this tool is for carpenters to help tweak sill plates. I'm willing to guess it performs that job real well. As for me, the name is a bad one; it doesn't reflect it's intended use at all, it's like calling something a Ham-mer, when it's true function is to clamp wood.
