Great methodological handbook,

Altheide provides a great introduction to Qualitative Content Analysis. He provides step-by-step instructions that even beginners can follow to quickly start their own projects. He also provides examples to help the novice through the process. The only negative I would add is that the book is a little dated now. It doesn't take into account more modern ways of viewing media (such as on the internet) and still advises to use VHS tape to record.
