This text is meant to provide a brief overview of qualitative methods and does not provide enough detail to conduct an actual study. Easy to read and and offers examples and excerpts that are framed from a health policy viewpoint. This book was a requirement for a Qualitative Methods course and as such is good for beginning graduate students.

This is a great introduction to qualitative methods, with very helpful case studies. However, it does not go into enough detail about the different approaches in qualitative research.
