Not only are eight methodologies within qualitative research explicated, but each is exemplified with two research studies. Each research study is followed by a current reflection by the author with further insights into the research process, the methodology, guidance for similar studies, etc. This book really helps one understand what qualitative research is and is not.

As a doctoral student I prefer to study my own experience or in this case study the detailed and well written case studies of other qualitative researchers. This book is more than a text book and yet because of the case study format is very engaging.
