Yes, Beware! Amazon gets a zero rating from this seller,

I should have read this book before becoming an Amazon seller. I will do so, now, since Amazon has just burned this long-time seller. I recently printed out the address supplied by Amazon, for a product I sold. This is normal practice. The address was incorrect, and after the item was returned to me, the buyer wrote me that Amazon has TWO addresses for her and has delivered to her successfully at the correct one. I spent money to deliver her purchase to the wrong address--supplied by Amazon--but Amazon says, after repeated queries and statements of fact, that it is not responsible for the address supplied to me. I'm out the postage expense and still have product, returned to me with WRONG ADDRESS stamped on it. I'm taking my business elsewhere, both as a seller and as a buyer. It's a sad end to a long, and mutually profitable, relationship.
Amazon gets a zero rating from me. John Pendley 12-4-10

The Best Management Book Written by a Filipino Guru,
By A Customer
This review is from: Quality Means Survival: Caveat Vendidor, Let the Seller Beware (Paperback)
I have read a lot of books on management concepts, theories and approaches. This book of Prof. Rene Domingo is by far the best. I have recommended it to many clients of our law firm, Chan Robles and Associates - Philippines, and they are one in saying that indeed Prof. Domingo's book has proven to be very useful especially at this time of extreme difficulties being faced by the economies in the Asia-Pacific region. This book is one of the few (and the first) we recommend to the clients and friends of our firm and its adjunct organizations prior to taking any serious management study, rehabilitation or re-engineering engagement.

This book is one of the most engaging books I have read - full of data, illustrations and real-life experiences. This is a must-reading for Industrial Engineering students, faculty, practitioners, TQ implementors and consultants. I particularly like the section on getting rid of anti-quality policies. I can't help but agree that some companies want TQ but most just give it lip service by sustaining a lot of anti-quality policies. TQ can be a potent tool but the political will to change must be robust.

I have just finished reading 'Quality means Survival'. It is EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT!! Your book and words are very inspirational and absolutly required reading by every human being on this planet. If ALL human beings read, internalize and actually practiced what you teach, all of us customers would have an extremely difficult time deciding which like products to buy. We would become 'loyal' to all. This book needs to be REQUIRED in all public education facilities in the world. My vision is that we would have a wonderfully QUALITY world and minds that continuously improved our quality of life, forever! By the way, I found your book by 'accident' when I went to the book store in Menlo Park, California looking for other books. The title caught my eye as well as the currentness of your writing, 1997. Thank you for your wonderful and inspirational contribution. Far better than the 'Best', it is the 'Best' of the 'Best', period.

Many books on Quality are good, but rarely you find a book which carry the author's soul in it, reminding all business people to take Quality seriously. When reading this book, I imagine when John the Baptist calling people in the dry dessert of death to repent........
