If you are going to use these for mailing photos or art, make sure extra cardboard, chipboard or foam core is used to sandwich your photos or art in-between to protect it, as this mailer easily bends in half when only one layer of chipboard is inside.
I bought these because they were cheaper than other rigid mailers I've used in the past which were much thicker/sturdier. Disappointed that these are not "Extra-Rigid" as advertised.
Durable, protective, fast & easy to pack books & DVDs in, especially odd-sized items.
Perfect for International shipping!
Be certain you buy it with Super Saver Shipping, as regular shipping costs are...unfortunate for this item.
The Hipster gives it a Big Thumbs UP!
1. Hard-back RPG books like Dungeons and Dragons book fit great, nice and snug but with enough space that I can still close and seal the lip.
2. DVDs - easily-- you can probably get 4 DVDs in here (side by side 2 on top of each other) if you wrap them in plastic to keep them from shifting.
If you are trying to fit hardback Tom Clancy Novels, those would be too thick. So long as the item you are putting in this is less than an inch thick and no more than the size of a Dungeons and Dragons Players Handbook you will like these a lot.
Like I said, I ship with these 3 to 5 times a day and have for over two years and NOT ONCE has a customer complained that their item was damaged during shipping. I will continue to use these for that reason!
I would recommend these mailers for shipping photos that you want to arrive unbent and in one piece.
